I think I would puke if my bike tipped over in a parking lot and dented the frame/gas tank - has anyone with an XB9 or 12, with the thermoplastic frame pucks in place, tipped their bike over, and have the pucks prevented damage? thanks paul |

Yes. I dropped my XT and the bags, pucks, and sliders got scratched but saved the bike from damage. Husky |

mine went down in a parking lot at less than 10 mph. the adhesive gave out, the puck ripped off and now i have a small dent in my gas tank. i cried a little bit, on the inside. |

mine has went down once in the driveway in gravel, no damage to anything but a couple scuffs on the puck. Then once into the grass on a on ramp to the expresway doing about 40-50 mph. . . still nothing but scraps to the puck and the sliders. buy those pucks, follow the instructions, save your frames. (it helps the bike stay off the controls in my opinion I.E. rear brake and gear shift when a small mishap occurs, preventing tranny damage, and possibly helping you limp home when you hurt your ego ) you throw a high side or let the bike go out from under you across some pavement and its gonna leave some marks. |
