Hey Guys... Well, its bin about 10months now since my split with the ex and all is settled... Thx God i still have my S2T ... I decided today to fire the ol girl up and pump some blood back thru its viens... I went to remove the fuel cap, and low and behold, It would hardly come outa its hole... Is the black underside stuff prone to swelling if left sitting for about 10months without removal? The unit fired right up on its 3/4 tank of 10month old fuel, but the cap is very hard to install or remove....I guess sanding its edge would be the plan... Curious if anyone else has run into this..? I did do a driveway blast with it, and YES, It felt good to be on my S2T once again... Till Death do we Part! Hb |

Hank, it is great to have you back in the Old School section. You were missed. I am not sure about making Sturgis this year. Lynn and I planned to go and she has to work so I think I will not go and plan a trip to Yellowstone later this summer. Now, get out there and ride that S2T. Oh yeah, on the gas tank, I used a dremel on the one on my S1W. It expanded when I had it off the tank for a few months while getting the bike repainted. |

Good to see you back Hank. Think of it as a performance mod - remove body weight (even if it is just with a file), gain performance, right? LOL |
