For those interested in our ride today: We left Wallace Lake at 9:30. Went down West River to 303 to 44 to 14 to 9 to Carollton. 43 to 164 to Lisbon. 45 to the Ohio River, 7 to 170 to 14 to 224 to 44 to 303 to West River. Great Ride. Hope you can make it next time! | ||

My mad maps finally came in and we're going to check out one of the routes tomorrow if anyone is interested in joining us. We're lookin at heading down to Tuscarawas County. Probably going to slab it down there, pick up the twisties in New Philly and ride a 120 mile loop and slab it back. If anyone's interested, let me know. We are looking to start at 9am. Steve, How was the ride? Where did you go? There is a great little bar/restaurant in Stone Creek called TJs. They have the best Prime Rib special on Friday and Saturday. It's only 11.95 and there are great road in that area. | ||

Didn't make it to Southeast. I have seen Bubba before, he's good. Cleveland HD Sales is having their 80th on Saturday. I might be able to make it up to Lake Erie on Sunday for a while. | ||

Dennys is right there at 18/71. Also Century Harley is back there behind Dennys but they are most definitely NON-Buell. There is a Roush Motorsports behind Century Harley that should sell Buells. They have everything else: Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, and KTM. Not sure but I think they might be adding Aprilia even. Nice shop indeed. I'll be at the track starting Friday. Gonna be tenting it. | ||

Buell sighting in Berea,looked like a black lightning with amber wheels. I saw you at the Marathon station at the corner of Lindberg and Bagley. Anybody from here? I just caught a glimpse from behind as I passed and recognized the tail end. You were about a half mile from my home. | ||

Mid Ohio Races: Not sure if I will be in Cleveland or Salem this weekend. We may be camping with some friends down that way. Lots of great roads down there, by the way!!! If I am in Cleveland, I would suggest meeting at the Waffle House on 18, near 71. If I am in Salem, you are welcome to meet me down there. We would likely end up taking route 30 over to Mid-Ohio. The races don't start till 2:00 on Sunday, but I suggest getting there before then. Lots of bikes to see. If we can't ride together, let's meet somewhere at the race... | ||

I was thinking of heading down in the morning, get in ahead of the crowds. UsUly, if no one is coming out of cleveland, I could always catch up with ya in canton somewhere. We'll see who's doin what this week and go from there. As far as a 71 & 18 meeting point goes, waffle house works for me. | ||

I dont know what time I can leave Friday. I wonder if anybody is trailering from Cleveland and might you have an extra trailer space for my Buell? I need to truck my camping gear and I'm not sure if I can handle loading my bike into the truck by myself. Any suggestions? | ||

The Gates open at 7:00 AM with warm-up starting at 9:00 AM. 7:00 a.m. Gates Open 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Warm-Up – Daytona SportBike 9:40 a.m. – 10:10 a.m. Warm-Up – SuperSport 10:20 a.m. – 10:50 a.m. Warm-Up – American Superbike 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Lunch / Mid-Ohio Dealer Ride 12:45 p.m. Daytona Sportbikes on Grid 1:00 p.m. Fan Walk/Opening Ceremonies 2:00 p.m. AMA Pro Daytona SportBike Race (21 laps, 50 Mi/80 Km) 3:00 p.m. AMA Pro SuperSport Race (17 laps, 40 Mi/65 Km) 4:00 p.m. Wiseco Superbike 100 Race #2 AMA Pro American Superbike (21 laps, 50 Mi/80 Km) It could take us anywhere from 1 hour on 71 to 2 hours on back roads. What do you think about meeting at 8:00, having breakfast and be on the road by 8:30? We would get there between 9:30 and 10:30. | ||

That should work for me and the woman. I'll follow whatever route the group wants, as long as we can a few 10 minute breaks. We'll be two up on the 1125r, which is a bit cramped for my 5' 9" fiancé. | ||
