Hi all, I finally got around to making patterns for the knee recess and back of the tank cover on my S2. Tankslapper has pre cut kits for the XBs but nothing back to the older models. I ordered two feet of the clear static material from tankslapper, cut them out, and installed over this past weekend. Some pics are attached. If you would like a tracing of the patterns drop me a line and I'll send them along to you. You can read about the Tankslapper product and order the material at www.thetankslapper.biz The static material is $8/foot from a 24" wide roll. To order go to the special order section and enter in the dollar amount based on however many feet you want...then proceed to check out. In the comments section write how many feet you want from the roll and a few days later a neatly rolled package of your material arrives. Dana-C

I am interested in the patterns. are they something you can e-mail? I have a plotter. By the way, how well does that little urinal work on long rides? Shane |

Hahahaha . . . . when I took the S2 around the United States, I had my communication connection precisely like that. There was a Gold Wing rider in an Iron Butt who had himself catheterized and had a similar looking setup. That was subsequently outlawed.

Patterns....Go to Wally world and buy a yard of the cheap clear vinyl sold in the fabric dept. Tape it on and draw right on top of it with a marker. Pull it off and cut out your new full scale pattern. It doesn't get any easier. |
