I'm looking for a SLIGHTLY lower set of bars than the stockers on my wife's 2000 Blast. Maybe 1 or 2" lower with a similar bend. Any ideas? I lloked around the vault, but nothing jumped out at me. The superbars seemed popular, but my wife is only 5 feet tall and they seemed too low. Thanks in advance.

The superbike bars are perfect, even more so if she's not that tall. You can also use the superbike bars and add risers to it for height. Risers are available from $30-$100 or you can use stock bar clamps turned upside down to add height (you'll need longer bolts). Part #M0348.T
Superbars are cheap from chapparrel-try a set.

Aren't those Superbars as low as M2 bars? Can you show me a pic of a bike with them on it?

If what you want is slightly lower than stock with a similar bend then I would recommend the Daytona or GP Touring bars. Chaparral Racing gives the width, rise, and pullback on all the bars they sell. Measure up the stock ones then compare to what they offer and find the one to her liking.

I found all the stock Buell bar specs on Flanders' website. I agree, the Daytona bars look pretty close to what I had in mind, thanks.

I also have short arms...I tried the superbike bars...great for blastin around on, would be perfect for track days or roads with lots of high speed twisties.. but too low for long rides...then I tried the daytona bars...height was just about right, but they don't have enough pullback, would cramp my wrists...then I got the GP Touring bars...they are just right for those longer rides..

EZ, the Flanders site was just for reference. Definitely too expensive.
Fast 1075, how tall are you?

Fast, do the GP bars get close to the tank at full lock?

I don't think there will be a problem with tank clearance with the GP bars...

I installed limiters on my steering head when I installed the superbike bars to keep them from hitting the tank because they would hit unless you had the bars kicked up so it looked like a stunter's bicycle...

So are you still able to lock the steering when parked?

Bring the bars forward and not back, and they lock fine.

I placed that order the other day, but now the website doesn't recognize my name and password. No way to track down the order. No confirmation email either.

OK, I was wondering because I ordered something from another place once and I forgot to give them my email and I never got a conformation or anything.

I got the bars on and they look pretty good. I think I'm going to cut the stems off the Napoleon bar ends and mount them in the stock location though. They make the bars look really wide. The switch housings will just barely touch the tank at full lock, so I tried to rotate them slightly forward, but it feels unnatural. Is there a good place to buy inexpensive spacers? 3/4 to 1" will do it. The bike looks 100% better. Looks pretty mean actually. Doesn't look like it needs tassles on the end of the bars anymore.

You can use an extra set of Blast handlebar clamps. Flip them over and add longer bolts.
Part # M0348.T $5 each
They also make much more expensive risers too!
