Got my bike back rolling, just wondering if there's any MN riders that know of some good roads to hit up. I'm itchin for some riding time. Anyone want to make a run? |

Hello Jake! Yes there are many MN riders here. We hang out on the MN Storm Fronts page! Here is the link...make sure you check in on the "Head Count" thread. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/37/ 6310.html?1241635299 |

Jake, go ride the Welch Villiage Ski resort rd. It's about 40 min or so from mpls. Take hwy 55 s (it will turn into 52). Exit at hwy 50, go east (left). This will turn into hwy 61. Go through Miesville, about 7-10 miles you'll see a sign for the ski area on your rt. Lot's of fun, you'll likely do it a couple of times. |

Jake, go ride the Welch Villiage Ski resort rd. +1 I do it often. Its only 20 miles or so from my house. As soon as you hit Welch city limits slow down though. Ive ran into the occasional sheriff there. Drop me a PM or call (numbers in the BRAN) if your heading down there. Mabey I can join you. BTW Im booked for the next 7 days with 4X4 stuff. |

Good point rpm, beware of the sheriff. Often times they also sit in the parking lot before the bridge at Larry's. Another nice one is the ride to Henderson. Hwy 212, then e or s on 41(I forget which). If you haven't, you should. |

cool. ill check out that welch village run tomorrow. I haven't been to welch since i was a kid. just rode from shakopee to lake minnetonka (to Maynard's bar) on 101 that was pretty cool. i've done the 212 run a couple times, i love lion's tap! I recommend heading north, though on 101 off of 212, it is a short (2-3 miles) of uphill, wooded twisties. the storm fronts page is nearly impossible to navigate....... |

Patrols are always a problem, huh? I asked about some events in MN on the storm fronts page, but not sure if anyone can find those posts. Any ideas here? |

I'll be moving back to the Twin Cities in September and I'm always up for riding. I haven't had a bike in MN for two years so I need to find some good roads. |

If you get up towards Duluth, the road through Jay Cooke State Park near Carlton and Thompson is a great ride. |
