OK. It has been in the works here and finally confirmed. A certain Canadian and a certain American are taking off for parts NORTH after the 20th Anniversary in East Troy.

It is looking something like a possible ten to fourteen day trek for me, and Newfie (aka Northern IronButt) will have to go home at some point before then... so maybe, I guess, I can put up with him for a week. (If not, I am sure I can 'ditch' the dude).

Route planned includes stop in the 'Muskellunge Capitol of the Northwoods'... so if you are into fishin' this is your trip... Hmmmmn a fishing pole on a Buell??? :snicker:

We will explore the winding roads of Ojibway Country in northern Wisconsin... search for cappucinos in the Upper Penninsula (they are only available in cans up there if I remember correctly)... pass through Sault St Marie and then go Island Hopping on the northern shores of Lake Huron. Return routes are yet to be determined but could include hooking up with riders in Ontario, Pennsylvania and/or Michigan.

I am camping for the most part and traveling cheap as I can. Some (eheeeem) people can't fit a tent onto their bikes... Goofus, Newfus ;).

Suggestions and comments are welcome. Accomadations will require a little research on my part... but the SNOW is piled up and it is -35 below wind chill, so it will keep me happy.

Sounds like I am being led down the garden path by an older gal.

If I am going home then its just as well to head North then hang a left at the first great lake, head east for a couple of days till I hit water.

Anyone for a trip to Newfoundland or Eastern Canada, I can be the guide for the trip across.
