Not mine, I ran across it as I check the craigslist motorcycle ads everyday and thought I would share. http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/mcy/1253647555. html |

Lets see, less than 500 S2Ts were made. And he has chopped that bike up so much that it could not even be used for parts. Sick is not the word I would use. There is a reason that has been on craigslist for a while. |

This has to be the third or fourth time that S2 has come up for sale. It seems that some here dislike it because it was a low number bike, and it has a few questionable mods (removal of the tail support struts). I like it. I think the builder had good taste and produced a very clean and appealing bike. This is going to get the hair up on a few member's backs, but I feel the styling of the S2's is a bit awkward, and the builder was able to come up with a very attractive look. We've all seen hack jobs done to nice tube frame, and even XB buells. What is up with flat black and truck liner finishes anyway? Take off those stock turn signals and add some tiny lights that can't be seen, but might be legal. Add a straight piece of pipe or cherry bomb muffler from NAPA. I don't feel this S2 fits in that category at all. Would I buy it? Probably not. Do I like it? I SURE DO. |

It's been for sale for awhile. I posted it over in the S2 section a month or two ago... |

I talked to the guy a while ago. I passed over his email address over the weekend and thought about checking in with him. Seemed like a decent guy. He definitely has some build talent. Some of the mods were crash-induced, so the purist in me can let it go... If anyone is interested in buying it, I can go take a look. |

I didn't know that some of the mods were crash-induced. I like the bike a lot; I just wouldn't hack up a perfectly good S2T. That being said, I can much more appreciate this kind of rebuild over junking the bike . |

if you ignore the 'S2-ness' issues, it's way cool - good work! |

You may not like what he has done, but it is still a Buell and not a Chopper, that is the most important thing. |

I am with John, always thought they looked a little odd. I like what he has done with it. I am sure with some work it could be brought back to stock if you are a purist. The ONLY thing I can see that I don't like is that it looks like getting that oil filter off would be a real pain. |

It might not be a chopper now but it will be soon. He trashed the frame. As someone thinking about a S2, this bike is trashed. |

I'm new and in a month or so will be looking hard for a tuber. What is so wrong with this one other then he customized it and it's not "stock"? |

If i were in the market for another Buell. And a solo Buell at that Hell yes, I would buy it. I'm thinking 3ish on the price, but thats all in the "I don't need it!" thing. IF it were a 1200RR i might bitch. At least it ISN"T in a damm low speed wabler frame! |

Bumpus HD in Murfreesboro. They have ugly bikes there too. Someone put an aftermarket fairing on a Heritage Softtail. Looks like poop. I just don't find S2's attractive. Then again, I thought tubers were ugly until recently. Maybe if I stare at one long enough, I won't gag. |

Ha! That is good... I have a real wood for a tuber bad even though I have no harley experiance and really don't like traditional harleys. I also don't see the beauty in the S2, like the way the S1 and X1's look. One of my bikes is a MT-16 Dnepr right now so I am thinking a S1 or X1 has to be more reliable... |

I want an X1 bad. I think it's the best looking of the tubers. |

Well if you are just want looks you are in the right line of work. I am with you Spiderman. Anyone buy it yet? Let us know how all those so-called performance mods work out. I bet it handles great with the oil bag located where it is. I am sure the frame is sound! At least it is not as ugly as a XB12X. |
