Author Message   Thump4fun Posted on Monday, June 29, 2009 - 08:53 pm:        Masa and I, along with a couple non-Buell friends, just returned from our trip to the Dragon and the Blue Ridge Parkway. 1,112 miles of awesome riding adventuring!! And guess what...no more chicken stripes!! The Dragon took care of that for me! Well...actually my left side still has about 1/2 centimeter but my right side is all gone. I must turn slightly deeper to my right. After 3 trips through the Dragon we took route 28 (another fantastic road) over to the Blue Ridge Parkway and traveled about 1/2 of it (235 miles to route 21 in Virginia). What a breathtakingly beautiful and energetic ride that was! Then 21 over to 77 and on to route 33 and home. It was WINDY as anything all 350 miles home today. WOW!! But we made it without any mishaps. We'll have some pics and maybe even a small part of one of the videos we took of us on the Dragon soon. For now, here's a couple of us on the Dragon... All of us got home safely. None of us got bitten by Dragon. I am sorting the photos and the videos of the whole trip. BTW, I will be out of town tomorrow and have to skip the meeting. BTW I need some sort of head count again if possible so I can get an appropriate amount of food. I haven't tweaked all the items yet as I was doing it as a proof of concept. They have hats, stickers, and other items we can put the logos on. I did NOT put any markup on the products, so they are priced at the lowest price available. I also haven't added all the potential products yet, but take a look at what's there so far. I can't make tonight's meeting after all. The wife is leaving on her trip tomorrow so I need/should hang with her and the kids tonight. Wasn't thinking when I committed to being there tonight. Sorry. So that means two things - first, I won't be there with the COBRA cards to hand out. And second, I won't be able to meet George (Masa's friend) to pick up their set of pics and video. But...I will put some of the pics I do have up on the website probably tomorrow.
