Nice. Good thing you pointed out that there was a bike in that pic or I wouldn't have noticed it. |

Ventura large rack and touring bag(custom back rest),throw over panniers, air hawk seats front and rear, buell tank bag,Megacycle(melbourne/Australia)custom pipe, and helmets fitted with cordless intercom system-la scala(?).Rear tyre pirelli rosso dual compound worked beatifully as the original would have been knacked 1/2 way around our trip.(2500kms)I weigh 93kg and wife 83kg so i adjusted preload, tyres and other settings to suit.Even so on Tassies roads we did bottom out very occasionally, mind you we were generally pushing 125-140kms/hr on straights etc.Bike was a treat.I am in middle of sorting out remus powerizer that i fitted to suit pipe but proving to be mini disaster as trottle settings are now all wrong. At this stage my dealer is saying its the remus and remus is saying its my fitting etc.ARRRRRRRRH.Can't say i wasn't warned unfortunately. |

Glad you had a great trip. Your mods look great. Here is my 1125rt: I went the hard bag route with Givi V35 bags. You can still ride double and it carries the weight further forward and lower. Time2Work Neil S. |

Love the look and size of those bags, might be investing in those-could you tell me how much including brackets?,and would those brackets interfere with ventura rack? |

The Givi V35 bags are about $450 USD. I modified a set of brackets for a V-Strom from Givi. Since I don't know exactly how the Ventura rack mounts, I don't know if these brackets would interfere. If you need anymore info, just drop me a line. Neil S. |
