What cycle mags does everybody read? I had a subscription to Sport Compact Car (R.I.P) for going on 12 years when they recently merged with Modified Mag (along with Turbo Magazine). I don't know if any of you are into the sport compact/import car scene but after a few issues, I was trying to give them a chance, I can say that IMO Modified mag sucks. Anyway, I called today to see if I could change it to something else and seeing as I already subscribe to Motorcyclist and Cycle World (CW is my fave, Egan is da man) I went with Super Streetbikes. Anybody have any impressions of this mag as I've yet to receive my first issue. Thanks. Discuss.. |

I am a tuner, '97 Talon TSi AWD, and like you, miss Sport Compact Car. As far as motorcycle mags... I have not looked for one yet. |

I subscribe to Cycle World and Rider. I prefer Rider because they cover bikes the way I ride them... on the street and on tour. They don't particularly care about how well the bikes do on the dyno or on the track which is fine by me. |

Before coming to Buell I was very into Mustangs. I have a 2000 GT, built to carve corners on track days that eventually turned into a show car. It now sits in storage. |

Modified Mag used to be great, then turned to shit - might have been bought out though. For sport compact stuff I read D-Sport mainly. Agree with the Wolf - "The Horse" is great. Also read Cycle Source, Ironhorse and American Cycle. All chopper mags though. |

For the first 30 years, I used to subscribe to many, but about a decade ago I stopped because they were not addressing my interests. Every once in a while I will buy one of the English magazines, but not very often. Mostly I read the "forums" now. |

When I was still in the Navy stationed in Rota, Spain, there was a magazine called The Biker Zone and it was awesome! It was strictly a street fighter magazine and that was back in 1997 so Europeans are really way ahead of us when it comes to street fighter bikes. I guess we rule when it comes to cruisers, choppers and well, Buells! |

There was also another Brit magazine called AWOL which was a mix of street fighters and choppers with the very same styloe of The Horse... |

Yeah, I wish we had some streetfighter mags here, seems to be more mainstream in Europe. |

Bike and Fast Bikes from the UK are both light years beyond anything in North America. Much more in depth and entertaining than American or Canadian magazines. Just as TopGear is the best car show ever. |

A few magazines: Sport rider, Muscle Mustangs, 5.0 Mustangs, Runners world, and CI Cigars. |

I got tired of reading the mags when the articles are the same year after year, just BNG. Same bike tests same tech articles, just repackaged. I did however just sign up for a free sub to Sport Rider. |

I've had a lot of subscriptions over the years, but the best by far is Garage Magazine. Hands down. If there was only a single mag I could have for the rest of my life it would be Garage. The only bad part is that it's not a monthly. |

Super Street Bike is a sister publication to Motorcyclist mag. It pretty much on a level playing field with Two Wheel Tuner. You'll find fighters in both. A bike that I helping with the build is most likely going in Two Wheel Tuner when Completed. But for normal reading... Cycle World and Road Racing World is what I read. |

If you go onto the Buell website, you can look at the Fuell magazine. I can MIT figure out how to order a hard copy subscription. Is it possible? |

Ok Pmpski - tonight I picked up an issue of Garage magazine. Looked good while flipping through it in the store but we'll see how good it is the next time nature calls. |

WebBikeWorld, and Motorcycle Consumer News. Just for good product reviews, some technical in both, some good how-to's in MCN. I just can't pick up the "bike porn" (the ones w/ all the hot bikes old and new that you WANT.) I would end up broke, in debt, with a huge garage. Hi, my name's Chris, and I'm a bikeaholic. |

I subscribe to Motorcyclist which IMO covers a wide range of bikes and riding styles. I recently subscribed to Road Runner and just received my first issue - AWESOME mag! It's very touring oriented. The main focus of the mag is different detailed ride reports, but they also do product reviews, motorcycle history, training articles, etc. They usually have a feature article in each issue covering a "shamrock tour". Those entail staying at a central location for 4 nights, and each day exploring a loop to the north/east/south/west from the central location. Just a great all around mag. |

Got the first issue of SuperStreetBike Saturday. We're off to a good start. Comparison between 1125CR, Speed Triple, and Monster 1100. The back page was an 1125R from AMA Moto-GP race in Daytona and there was even a white XB12R in the Reader's Rides section. Lots of Buell exposure in this issue, hope they keep it up. |

Jakecheez - FUELL magazine appears to be dead. The last hard copy I received in the mail was almost a year ago. |

Pimp - garage is real cool, a little left coast oriented for my tastes but cool. Didn't know jesse James had a magazine. I saw a good looking read on "Super Bikes" tv show hosted by Jason Britton, but I can't remember what it was called??? |
