Maybe I should add that I'll "eat the shipping" to anywhere in the continental US. I just went to UPS.com and figured shipping to Alice Springs (central AU, as an estimate) and the total came to $708.53. Crikey!  (I'm not hungry enough to eat that much!) LOL Although CRIKEY is on the license plate of my Uly, so I think it was meant to be! | ||

So since you pulled the bags off the XT does that mean that the buyer will still have to come up with the mounting hardware or did the new Outdoorsmen cases also come with mounting brackets? Answering this question would go a long way towards helping potential buyers to make you a reasonable offer. | ||

I was going to chime in before, shipping anything larger than a book to AU, you would be better off flying there and carrying it.  Perhaps you can make it some kind of foreign exchange plan, and he sends you a nice Holden  | ||

Rightpecial: Sorry I didn't make that clear. Sort of took it for granted, but thanks for asking! I was hoping that when we got the new Outdoorsmans home, all I would have to do is hang the new bags on the existing brackets, but no such luck. They have different brackets, so I took all of the existing XT hardware off and installed all of the new Outdoorsman hardware / brackets and re-bagged all of the original XT goodies / brackets in the packaging that the Outdoorsmans came in. Whew?! Hope I didn't over-complicate that explanation!  So yes, the kit is complete. Bags / Brackets / Bolts - Everything you'll need, if you start from nothing! Thanks, Shawn | ||

With out double-checking, I think they are $1395 new, plus tax, so that would bring them to just under $1500. F_skinner: Sorry man, I wasn't really trying to create an auction out of this. Most people have just PM'd an offer. In the end, I'm no different from most everyone else. We all want the mostest for the leastest. What I have been telling people so far when they've PM'd me. We would like to get $1100 for everything, and for that price I'll ship them anywhere in the continental US. I didn't originally realize that there would be any demand for the top case / bracket only - so that is why I was hesitant to separate. But as I've realized, Buell doesn't offer the top case alone. Personally, I use the top bag alone most of the time. (This is a spare & unused set that is for sale) So I guess...
