I wonder if something happened to the program and one of the sensor is going out of range after riding it. harleys can set a light under load from a loose plug wire but run just fine. if the lights coming on then there has to be a stored code in there. bring it by the shop and i'll hook it up and see. |

No issues before ECMspy. I might not be doing the right thing in ECMspy to get the code to appear as well. Are you going to be at the shop this weekend? I'll probably try to bring it by Saturday if I can. Thanks! |

torquemonster... To answer your question about the car show; seeing how everyone else missed it... The show you are referring to takes place every saturday night at a place called the Pavilions of Scottsdale, held by the McD's. They also have a bike section, in which I have tried to get people to go to, just to meet and get Buell out in the local community. When you get out here to the great state of AZ, I will meet you up there! I attend semi-regularly. |

I'd be down to go to that car show, once I get the bike in working order. Andrew: I'll probably stop by in the evening. I got to go to work in the morning, hopefully for not that long. If work does go long, I'll have to stop by during the week. |

Andrew: Sorry I couldn't make it today, work was lame. If you're in tomorrow I can definitely can make it, if not I could come over during the week. And how much is this is gonna cost? |

thanks wayne, i know i can count on you for help. we're in our summer break so i'm putting the bike back on the street for now. i had it out for a couple days before head gaskets blow, the idea is to start doing rides on sundays with everyone. i'm not sure if i'll make it back to the track because i need things that i cant afford. i may try and wing it for the last couple rounds to get pionts, if i can continue my results i can finish 1st or 2nd in both thunderbike and supertwins and prove to everyone down here that buell is a bike to be respected! i'll let you know if i need anything and look forward to going riding with you, maybe you and rob will get out there next year. |

well it looks like the head gasket failure is a little more serious the just a simple blown gasket. the engine pulled a cylinder stud out of the crankcase. i have an appointment with my machinist to see what he can do to fix it. the good news is the street plastics are off at the painter getting reworked, should look simple but cool. |

Thanks Duke. Ill check it out this Saturday and maybe cage it to Chases on Monday. Got here on the 29th and have been trying to learn my way around. Thank god for grid systems. Happy to say that ive seen quite a few Buells around town already. Some dude on a red firebolt cruised by me in traffic and saw a white S1 parked outside a shop in Chandler. Nice. My bike is still in Florida and Ill have it here by Aug. 22nd....just in time to NOT ride it. Heard about the monsoons making the streets slick as sh!t...scary. |

Tourque, Don't be scairt! Some of us still ride! I typically do a group ride every two weeks, and an overnight ride once a month. There is another ride to Springerville, and HWY191 coming up in September, the weekend of the 12th and 13th. There are lots of Buells in town, but two thirds of them don't even know about the Badweb, only a few post here, even fewer get involved in group rides. Andrew, Bummer about your motor, but it sounds like you got a handle on your repairs. |

Bart If you weren't always sneaking off on a Tuesday while the rest of us are at work we could participate. Just kidding I have to put some new pads on my bike and I will be down for the ride in September. |

I didnt get to make the car show today...Woke up with a low grade fever and the lungs were expelling yellow goodies. TMI, i know....This newfound desert livin' must be baking the "swampcrap" outta my system. Did anyone else go? How was it? |

Torque it will take you a little while to get used to the climate change, til then, pay no attention to the crap crawling out of your system and drink 5 times as much water as you did before. I stayed off the roads, to much PD/DPS action yesterday morning to think about being on them last night. |

Torque, Now I didnt get to go, had exploding things happening; plus I am sure that not to many people where out there, with it being the 4th and all. I will try to be out there next week, hopefully we can have a few people out!!! About the weather, give it time to bake you through and through, and you willl get used to it! |

randle, I only get weekends off, every other month. I work a weird schedule, 4 days on, and 4 days off. So I get to ride weekdays when the cops are usually busy at the donut shop. I did ride up to Prescott on the 4th, on the Honda. Not much traffic over Yarnell, and the Spars were sweet! Not one cop to be seen the whole route. They had a 4th of July celebration going on in the town square, so we just motored on through town, and came back on I-17. Funny, the Honda has quite a display package, showing fuel, miles, trip mileage, miles per gallon, ambient air temp, engine temp, etc... At one point, coming down the hill, I hit 120, and was getting 69MPG! LOL (technology is fun sometimes) Wycked, are you going to be able to make the Ridefest in September? |
