my buddy just bought a '00 M2 and its puking oil out of the breather at mid-high rpm. not just a little, it will empty the oil bag onto the ground through the breather vents. the motor has 40k on it and runs really well. pulled the rocker covers and saw the umbrella seals were on in the wrong spot. swapped them and it was better. thought the oil pump might not be scavenging. took the pump apart, all looks well inside. swapped the oil pump for a known good one from an S1 and even with that pump it dumps oil. its fine at idle but anything above that and oil hits the floor. does anyone have any ideas? |

Does it return oil to the oil tank at all with the motor running? If not, try blowing air through the oil lines to see if any are obstructed. |
