Yup! I hit a deer last year and slightly bent the left bar end bolt. HVMP read my crash report on BadWeb (one of the owners rides a Uly) and offered to send me a new bolt for free! Luckily, the old one works just fine still. I recently tested it after crossing a creek: rode into deep gravel on the other bank, the rear tire slipped out, and I set the Uly on it's side. No damage whatsoever. They look cool, too. |

Not an isolated case. They did the same for me. |

So, uh, what's HVMP? Sounds like something you get from Rita, err, Rhonda, errrr...what was her name again? |

One of the board sponsors, Palmer Products, makes a set of bar ends that allow you to keep the handgaurds. Be sure to check them out! (I do not have any affiliation with Palmer Products, I was just on the website looking at a few things recently) |

>>>makes a set of bar ends that allow you to keep the handgaurds. Ditto for the HVMP. I've got the HVMP and they are excellent. The Palmer look very similar. I really enjoy that Palmer range of products. |

A week ago I dug my left HVMP bar end into a dirt road. While the HVMP's internal bolt bent, the hand guard remained in place protecting the clutch lever and my hand. The stock plastic inserts would not have taken that abuse. |

Same thing happened to me when hurricane winds overturned my Ulysses. HVMP bar ends saved the bike, not one scratch. Bolt bent but it was an easy fix. I'm a believer. (does that sound like Michael Naismith?) |

I want the dayglo throttlelock O-ring. Where can I get one like that? They do make good throttle locks. |

Read HERE it's a Caterpillar 8M4991. Crusty let me know if you have a spare . . . I am dying to find the one you gave me. I am suffering from "Courtsheimers". I know I put it somewhere "safe". If not, let me know and I'll order a quantity of them. |

I'm a believer. (does that sound like Michael Naismith?) About as much as his Mother inventing "white out"! |
