I have been looking for a used Screamin eagle helmet for a while now with no luck. So I finally went onto HD's website and they dont have any. Im confused.. Does anyone know or have one for sale? I would be willing to buy straight or have a few items to trade. Thanks | ||

My local HD dealer had a small on clearance and I liked it. It is black with orange and silver graphics. I need a large. Ive been trying to find one online but no luck. Thanks firebolt32 I appreciate it. | ||

Yep thats it. Thanks Muise! Apparently you are a better googler than I. That price is rough though! The new one at the dealership (wrong size) was $250 brand new. He wont ship it either  . Thanks! If you can get the part number, the dealer can locate one from another dealer and order it. I did that a few years back. I didn't know it was discontinued, I showed the motorcloths girl the picture and she looked up the part number, then found one in the middle of nowhere and got it ordered for me.  | ||

I got lucky and she recognized mine was able to whip out an old book to look up the part #. If you can get the # you can save the effort. | ||

98227-06V is the part number. She was unable to find it at any of her three stores. She is going to check the national database when she gets in tomorrow morning. She was walking out the door as she looked it up and said it was crazy in there today. She said it was released in 2007 and retails for $250 but is afraid it's obsolete for some reason. Trust me, if it's at a dealership, she'll find it. She just asked to be patient. | ||

Yea they change the helmet lineup like underwear. Not sure why, but that means new stuff is always in the pipeline. | ||

Anybody have a pic of the Buell Octane helmet? I googled Buell helmets and couldn't find a pic of the one I have. Not sure what the name of mine is. | ||

Wow thanks Firebolt! I really do appreciate it! Im in no hurry at all. I have a nice Icon helmet but have just been WANTING that helmet  I did find the harley road revolution helmet which is sweet too. | ||

I need to know what size. She was able to find a dealership in IL, OH and TX that have it in large. There were like 10 that had it in med. Let me know...I'll work something out to get it to you. | ||

Wow dude thats awesome! I think I need a large. What was the price on it? I cant really afford over 200 so hopefully its less! I guess it would have to be on clearance since its not made anymore.. Im actually leaving for Disney World tomorrow with the whole fam and may or may not have internet. I guess I could pay the harley place directly. I wonder if they would ship or transfer it to my HD dealer? | ||

They should send it to your local dealership. Retail is $250..it's obsolete so I may have something up my sleeve to get a better deal because of that...check your PM. I sent you some info. If your coming to FLA depending on how long it takes to get here and how long your staying I can get it to you. I live about 40 min from Disney. | ||
