Hello BadWebbers, i recently installed the palmer products large windscreen, the adjustable brackets, and the braces. wow what a big change, the bike is a dream to ride on the freeway now, its awsome. the screen takes all the abuse from the wind and bugs instead of me!!!!! it was ez to install, took no time at all, and really looks good on the bike. i give this product an A+ and i would highly recomend anyone who's thinking about installing a windscreen to try this one out. thank you Strada for answering all my questions and for treating me right. i didnt end up using the eyebrows you sent me so i cut my own sticker out of one of em Glen |

i forgot to mention, i did have a weird rattle after i put this on, it was my horn contacting the back of the cowl, the space between the horn and cowl was paper thin so i took the horn off the strip of metal that it was bolted to and bolted it back up to were the strip used to be. not a big deal but reading this might keep you from having to take your cowl off twice like i did now if i could just find the bar risers that jesse james used on his bmw to cross the ice road i'll be stylin. Glen, A few questions for you: 1. What is the web address for Palmer Products? I can't seem to find it. 2. How about taking that clean bike into a rain shower at say 60 mph and let me know if the rain clears your helmet. (I know, I am asking a lot.) 3. To gauge properly - how tall are you? Thanks |

im 6ft tall and have a 31 inch inseem. when i got the brackets they were set in the middle up and full forward spot so thats what i ran with. nothing was hitting me anywere, zero buffeting. today i switched it to all the way down and full forward and like it alot also.still, no buffeting, no bugs on my facesheild, the air is just barely touching the top of my helmet, but its clean air not turbulent. very comfortable. i'll let you know how it does rain tommorow http://weather.msn.com/hourly.aspx?wealocations=wc :USMI0554&q=Midland%2c+MI+forecast:hourly&weap=0#d ay1 |

Strada, on a side note, you might want to resize pictures on your site instead of HTML shrinking things! Bug me in an email if you want help. |

Windshield mounting kit is 48.50GBP, and depending if you want all the bells and whistles like the handlebar brace and toolless adapters, the price climbs to 68.50GBP. No windshield included, but you can reuse your stock windshield. If you want stradas windshield, its 70GBP for medium and 90 for large. for the cost of the setup you'd have to visit his website and choose the options that you want. i saved a little coin by not getting the tool-less adjusters. i just threw the tools that came with the kit into my bar bag. that way if i wanted i can move the sheild around at gas stops ect. for me it was more than worth the money. Quick question for all you Palmer owners out there. I have been sending them emails through their website for 2 weeks and can't seem to get a reply. Is this how everyone ordered theirs or I a missing something? I have heard glowing reviews of their customer service, so this kind of surprises me. |

Crempel, you might want to double check your method, ive exchanged like 20 e-mails with Iain over the past couple weeks and have never waited more than a few hours for him to get back to me... maybe try sending him a PM from this site? it should go right to his e-mail. Iains e-mail= ipes1@aol.com |

@ Crempel: Iain and his wife run the shop. No employees. It might be that they are on a short vacation. He'll get back to ya. |

Its not missing, its on middle of I-84 in PA. I totally understand that. The other day, I'm pulling up to a light and happened to notice one of the knobs on mine were shaking around. I did a quick tighten on it before the light turned green, and properly tightened it when I got to my destination. I try to check them every now and again before I start a ride. I guess I'll have to do a better job so I don't end up with a screw loose (too late according to my daughter), or worse; a lost one. Wayne |
