So I just picked up a new to me 2008 1125r. I bought JerseyGuy's bike. I was looking it over and noticed a few things different from what I have seen around here: 1. The front brake line is routed inside the front forks 2. There is no fuel vent in the left passenger peg Are either of these things to be concerned with? ac |

Both are recalls you should have your dealer do. |

Guess I'll have to take it down to Liberty for some work. Any other things I should look into? ac |

+1 Jdugger, go and enjoy it man. Have the dealer check it out for all the recalls, plug it in to tech and see if you have the 05Z flash, and let her rip! Enjoy! |

Why not Liberty? When I test rode they actually seemed to know what a Buell was. I am already driving an hour away from my nearest dealer (Kosco) to go to Liberty. Ocean County would have to be close to 2 hours away. ac |

>>>When I test rode they actually seemed to know what a Buell was. Liberty would be an EXCELLENT place. When the 1125R first came out they were one of the first dealers in the country to step up and invest heavily in factory training. I've had them work on my personal bikes. They know the Buells inside out, have excellent communications and relations with the factory tech folks and have an excellent reputation. Court |

BT6 just said that because he works at Ocean County. I understand, heck if you are in Colorado, come see US at High Country, just north of Denver. End shameless plug... Z |

If the fuel vent doesn't come out the left passenger peg...where is it? I would rather pull the passenger pegs off, so not having it on the left one is kinda nice. (unless of course it drips on the hot exhaust and turns me into a fireball or something) ac |
