Kim, Instead of a Colorado trip this year we should travel by Gremlin and meet up at the Edge Water! Man, does that dredge up old hazy memories!!! Brad |

Edgewater Hotel
Quote:The Edgewater Hotel was built in 1962 for the World’s Fair. The fourth floor was added around 1964. It remains Seattle’s only waterfront hotel. In 1964, during their world tour, the Fab Four were guests of the Edgewater Hotel. A cyclone fence was installed around the property to keep the fans out, however, it didn’t stop them from trying to swim over to the hotel. With all the security measures that were in place, fans still managed to smuggle themselves in to the hotel. One of the most famous pictures taken of The Beatles was taken at the Edgewater, as they fished from the window of room 272.

I stopped at Motown Harley/Buell today on the way back from Detroit. They had some Buell stuff on clearance. They had two Banke oil fill/dip sticks at $28 each. I bought one of them. They also had: A few sets of Crossroads bronze bushings for the pre 2001 shifter. A couple sets of Crossroads aluminum foot pegs. A Joker Machine Pulley Cover. A Joker Machine brake reservoir cover. All the stuff was on the clearance table marked down at least 25%. Mark '00 M2 '98 883 '74 CB550 '72 F7A Cincinnati, Ohio |

Chris Carr of XR750 and VR1000 Most excellent ! Hey, if anybody needs entertained, I have just taken some time to scan a couple other "Buell boards"; I'm torn between laughing and crying. How's this ...the factory doesn't know how may 1998 S-1's were built "they didn't keep that good of records then". Excuse me, but Buells records are without peer and it's common place to see Buell described as a technical leader in the use of computer applications from databases to 3D modeling. I can see the conversation...."Hi, I'm from Microsoft. We'd like to feature your firm in our .net advertising campaign because you can't keep track of the number of motorcycles you build". If you struggle with this concept, remember that motorcycles can be pretty easy to guesstimate, Blake you'll love this: (Total Wheels Purchased / 2 = Total Motorcycles) (Total footpegs purchased / 4 = Total Motorcycles) 'Taint, boys and girls, rocket science By the way, someone had asked a couple weeks ago how many 2002 X1 White Lightnings were made. Based on the abacaus and devining rod, that number was precisely 745 (+ or - 47% if you buy into some of the internet bullshit you read) Next thing you know, someone will say that they have no exact breakdowns by color.....geeeeeesh. Have a wonderful day...from snowy NYC, Court |

Some of the comments in the expanded answer sections are interesting and funny to read. Some of them I think I recognize from the answers given. |
