To all Buell owners: Avoid this person: Donald Bortz, 5105 Excellence Blvd #456, Tampa Fl 33617 (this is his work address at a hospital BTW) He has posted on Badweb as Meditr0n He recently sold me a Force exhaust which was cracked and when I asked for a refund he has refused. Now he won't even return e-mails. keeping this up for a few days so everyone can see it |

Hoot and Dave, I'm just screwing names all up. Rick Carroll is the person and all around Buell nut like myself.. I confused 2 different Buellers with similar last names!! Tom McCaroll is another well known Buell nut!! Doh!!

Peter: I've been catching up on the BBS & saw the picture of your new baby girl. You sure you brought the right one home? She's pretty cute. Or... never mind. I'm a little slow. The Mrs. is just drop-dead gergeous. Congratulations, Mate. Capt. Pete |

No, I'm not the one selling the tank cover. If I had one I'd probably keep it! Nice to know I'm well-known, I think...or is it just well-known that I'm a nut? Anyway, to quote Sony & Cher, "It ain't me, babe..." r-t (aka Tom McCarroll) |

Quote:I keep wanting to walk over and wake the poor guy sitting behind Colin Powell, with the striped tie, up!
That's the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. He was not asleep, he was looking down reading the presentation that Colin Powell was giving. Mr. Tenet was doing the same, he just looked up more often. |

Hey, For you fair weather types took the X1 out for a ride last night (34 F and raining/snowing) of all things to have a meal with the local guys and see Biker Boyz. Movie sucks, only one Buell in it (A Red Stripe X1). I found out a couple of things: The buell is much better at passing snowplows (the big monster highway ones) than any of my cars. Salt in the corners makes life interesting. One question came up: Are they still called "burnouts" when you're on ice? waiting on 40F Matt |

Dan- The power of the Badweb. A couple of years ago I had a problem with an unnamed mail order business. They charged my account before sending the product, then said it was not available. They also wanted to charge me full shipping even though the other item I ordered was little. I tried contacting them by email and they never responded, I called their rep. and she was rude to me. It wasn't until after I mentioned their name in a post here that they contacted me and resolved the issue. Like you, it became less about money and more about principle. |

>>>>"It ain't me, babe..." = Turtles >>>>"I got you babe" = Sony & Cher He WAS reading the text a great deal of the time. During a couple of those "follow along" head drops, he snapped too like I used to driving down I-70 at 2am in college. Cute. |

"He was not asleep, he was looking down reading the presentation that Colin Powell was giving. Mr. Tenet was doing the same, he just looked up more often." I'm going to remember that for the departmental meeting this morning. |

If there's no smoke, perhaps it's just a meltout. |

FREAKOUT on vinyl. Ya gotta love it. I like Cruisin With Ruben and the Jets. Don't like his jazz stuff much, though. For later stuff it's hard to beat Joe's Garage and Sheik Yerbouti. Oh, hell, aside from his jazz stuff, I like it all. |
