I have been happy with my 04 Honda VFR, no reason to look at other bikes. Its smooth, never breaks, quick, handles great etc. I was looking for a used bike for my son-in-law. I found a 98 S3T for sale. I took a test ride and fell in love! I bought it on the spot. It shakes and vibrates, the Buell stickers on the tank are bubbled, but it is hands down the most fun I have had on a motorcycle. I am 54 and have ridden since I was 13, this is best bike I have owned. 56,000 miles on her, it runs great. I hope it lasts. I have never had a Harley. |

Congrats on the bike Steve. A friend of mine used to own A '99 S3T that I spent some time on and it was a great bike. (Gave it away when he "sold" it...) BTW we prefer to to think of our bikes as bikes that just happen to be sold in a Harley dealership. Even if it does have a Harley motor we tend to think of ourselves as Buell and not Harley owners. Again, welcome! PS- Owned a true Harley when I was younger, after a Buell would never go back! |

I knew nothing about Buells until I test rode my X1. And bought it right on the spot. These bikes tend to grow on you specially if you come from a so called Metric bike. Good luck. |

I was a full on Guzzi guy, then I fell for an 09 XR1200, at 3k miles I crashed it and the insurance totaled it out. I took my excess equity and found an S3T on ebay. Gentlemen, I could not be happier, I can't believe I stayed away from Buell for so long. This 10 year old S3 is a better bike than the 09 H-D I crashed. I am a convert. Rock On Mr. Buell.
