I've got a broken wire connection on one of the pins inside the deutsch connector. Anybody got an idea on how to make a new connection? The pinch tabs on the pin that hold the wire appear to be glued closed. I'm only asking cuz IIRC these deutsch connectors are hard to come by. Am I right about that? I'll see if I can get a pic of it when wifey gets home with the digi. |

I cant imagine worst comes to worse that making a new connector would be a big deal. All the tools and parts exist to make the female connection for ECMspy cables, the male end shouldn't be much different. |

I don't have it handy right now, but the service manual has instructions for dismantling the deutsch connectors. It probably just pops apart with a screwdriver like the bigger ones on the ECM. I have some spare crimps you can have too. |

Yep, I have some of those. I'll probably be out in the hills this weekend if you want to meet up. Or if you're impatient, they carry them at SMHD. Deutsch PN: 0462-201-16141 Buell PN: 72191-94 |
