I'll start: Parsons Branch. A short one way unpaved run thru old growth forests of the Smoky Mountains. About a dozen creek crossings and it ends in the middle of the Dragon/Deals Gap/US 129. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=C ades+Cove+Loop+Rd&daddr=35.499181,-83.933744&geoco de=FdgBHwId3K8A-w%3B&hl=en&mra=dme&mrcr=0&mrsp=1&s z=14&sll=35.519583,-83.90173&sspn=0.062175,0.09982 1&ie=UTF8&ll=35.503933,-83.925333&spn=0.062187,0.0 99821&z=14

Driving time 1 hour? Thats 7.5 mph average. Do you push the bike the whole way? Or do they factor in the time of you getting out of the ditch after you dump it at 50? |

Lake Front Road in Land Between the Lakes. Banked paved sections with some beat-up pavement straight sections. You can explore the dirt side roads along the whole park. Just watch your speed on the Trace Road. It's 45 and trust me, you will want to go 70. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=R ushing+Creek+Rd&daddr=36.638948,-88.028297+to:Lake +Front+Rd+to:Fort+Henry+Rd&hl=en&geocode=FcivLwIdY w7B-g%3B%3BFQSLLQId4ObA-g%3BFSQqLQId-HPB-g&mra=dpe &mrcr=0&mrsp=1&sz=12&via=1,2&dirflg=h&sll=36.62048 8,-87.989845&sspn=0.133643,0.218353&ie=UTF8&ll=36. 612772,-88.01096&spn=0.066828,0.109177&z=13 |

Question about those creek crossings. Are they the type that grow algae and moss that's slicker than greased teflon? And how challenging is Parson's Branch for someone with road-only experience? |

That just means its extra fun! The bear warning is what concerns me on some of those trails. They must of let Ft_Bstrd out again. |
