I believe this is his best finish since his podium last year . . . and in this case, I think it was a little less of a fluke and more of a solid, relatively uneventful race. http://www.cdnsuperbike.com/index.php?option=com_c ontent&task=view&id=1553&Itemid=247 After his 7th place in the first round, this should put him in a pretty good position in the points standings and give him something to build on. |

I'm not sure what exactly is going on with Estok and James. In the first race at Calabogie, they both practiced in Superbike and were doing well, but didn't run in the qualifying round. There was an interview with Crevier around that time and he mentioned they wouldn't run Superbike until later in the year. At ICAR, they both practiced again and actually qualified . . . but then didn't start. I don't know if that was intentional or they had problems. Estok didn't finish the Sportbike race prior to Superbike, so he may have had a problem related to that. It looks like Estok (and maybe even James)could have a shot at top ten if they run, so I'd like to see him out there with Crevier. They probably don't have as realistic a shot at an actual podium as Steve . . . but who knows. If anyone has any details, I'd love to know more about the plan. |

We're just getting our team resources up to snuff, and need another race or so to do so. It takes a lot of effort to build a 3 rider team from scratch. Pete |

Thanks for checking in! (Mr. Snell I presume) If you can run all three riders in the top 15 in both Sport-bike and Superbike with one rider only a second off a podium in Superbike with your resources not yet "up to snuff", it's exciting to think what you'll be able to do when you're fully snuffed. Unfortunatley, Race City will probably be a tough track - at least for Superbike. Good luck! We'll be watching and rooting for you. |

Yes that's me. We'll be better off for Race City than we were last season for sure. And every race we're getting closer to where we want to be. We actually had time to revalve a shock at ICAR (!) Pete |

Pete, As a competitor, I'm sure you won't be happy until you've got all three riders on the box, but from an outsider's perspective, what you've done so far is pretty impressive. Steve C. is sitting at a solid 5th in Superbike points standings . . . and only a few points behind Nelson and McBain (Szoke and McCormick look like they're going to be very tough this year). Last year he finished 7th, so that's already an improvement. Estok and James are moving from Canadian Thunder to the much more competitive Sportbike and (hopefully) Superbike, and they've been looking strong in both those tough classes. In both classes, Estok has generally been running just a little quicker than 10th and James has generally been running just a little slower than 10th. If you could get all 3 of your riders running in the top 10 (and based on what you've done so far, that doesn't seem like too much of a stretch), that would be FANTASTIC . . . particularly if Crevier can be in a podium hunt. Granted, you're not there yet, but being just a little short of fantastic isn't anything to be ashamed about. |

Thanks for the kind words. We have a fantastic team, and some great riders. All we need now is to get a few more ducks in the row and everything should be a notch better. You can follow our progress at http://www.ruthlessracinginc.com/ Pete |

Isn't Race City the drag strip with a couple corners tossed in? If so, that's even more impressive for Crevier. Go Steve! |

"Keep up the good work! It is not easy to ride against higher HP bikes on an airstrip!" The 600's in Pro Sportbike had more HP? |
