Oh no, it's the 50's and 60's and 70's all over again. Next will come the "Biker Vixens from Hell", followed by "V-Twin at Midnight", then next year's highlight film fantasia "Hale-Bopp Harley Rides the Stars". |

So I went and saw Biker Boyz this past friday. What dreck. Even all the kewl rides didn't make up for the horrid muck they put together as plot. The sorry thing is, the camera work didn't even do the bikes justice. Some review I saw called it "a slow Fast and Furious". Pretty apt, really. I'd be hard pressed to give you all anything that made this flick worth watching. In fact, I'd say give it a pass even if your buddy shelled out the $3 to rent it. -Geof |

Yep I saw it too, and all I can say is (deep breath) Bwwaaaaahhhaaaaahhhhaaaaa!!! It was one of the finest examples of contrived Hollywood B.S. that I have seen in a while. You know those flicks where scenes on the quarter mile are about 3 minutes in duration, yeah realistic like that! It simply caters to the archtypical jap bike rider i.e. the guy with the tanktop, barbed-wire tattoo, hat on backwards w/sunglasses, riding a GSXR 750. Who hasn't seen that scenario played out?! Seriously though, I`m guilty for shelling out the cash to go see it. |

I want to see it for the pure laugh factor. The commercials are bad enough...the movie must be a real joke! |

Just incase you might have liked the movie they are selling the bikes from the movie on there web site. When they show the gsxr1000 they say "On the street it is known as the gixxer" I just about threw up all over the computer screen. My personal fav is the one covered in duct tape. http://www.bikerboyz.com/forsale.html |

Do you think those would be a good investment? Maybe in 20 years or so when one of those gets pulled out of the garage, will some one come up to me and say, "Isn't that the 'Gixxer' from Biker Boyz". Then we could sit around and talk about how that movie transformed the motorcycle world and made everyone understand how we as Motorcyclists live and feel about the ever changing world around us. Honey, get my check book! |

I beggest thy pardon , milord. Thine speech hath confounded us. A "dope gixxer"???? Dost that meanest Cannibus Decals upon yon petrol vessel? |

(Cough...Cough)...I mean I would like to own a really nice GSXR 1000 just like in the movies. I think Smoke from the movie is a excellent rider and oh how i do so enjoy watching people ride up and down the street on there wonderful 2 wheeled contraptions.I would also like to do some modifications to my Buell Lightning in order to make it more enjoyable for myself and make it look extravagant while I ride my motorcycle up and down the street while following the posted speed limit. I do sincerely apologize for the rather course language. I do hope that you will find it within your means to forgive this distraught soul. |

Oh! I thought that was badly translated Korean. I did not find your language course. One should not treat the streets as a race course. Due caution should be taken to avoid striking an innocent pedestrian. They're a real beotch to clean off the motor. no forgiveness is needed I took no offense. |

Phat.... I smiled at your "jive" post but laughed hard at the translation. I still think a "dope gixxer" is a suzuki with pot leaf decals. |

You know I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised too see one like that. Hell half of them are covered in fur so whats stopping them from putting a couple pot leaves and a few Bob Marley stickers on them. |

Yo, now come on, you guys don't think it was realistic that there was always just a little bit more throttle to be had when those boyz were draggin' and the other guy was almost catching them? Or to have the big finally race out in on a dirt farm road that ends with a one lane bridge and a "T" intersection? There aren't any straight paved roads in SoCal? It would seem that if they were going to spend that much money on actors (Lisa Bonet and Morpheus dont come cheap)and sets, how much more could it have costs to have hired someone to write a script. |
