Sounds like you had as bad a go round with the service department as I did sales. Ive never had a problem with parts or service. I think the biggest problems that Gails has is 1. Theyre one of the bigger dealerships, so theyve got that "big corporate" mentality now. and 2. They seem to me like they could care less about Buells. They work for an HD dealership and thats what they want to sell. Im not shy about letting people know my experience also. I will NEVER go to Gails again and I make sure to warn people of my past experiences. It also goes the other way though, I let everyone know that Riverfront has done nothing but good for me. They got my bike up and running right when Gails pretty much abandoned me (and the bike I just bought from them) and all the guys up there are real cool. |

Sometimes you just have to cut the legs off your wife's capri pants because you forgot to pack your own shorts. OMG...I forgot about that!

I think it was more likely an act of rebellion. Or, perhaps it is a statement about the duality of man. You know, the Jungian thing. |

I wasn't trying to get folks worked up about Gail's. I just thought since I was new to the Buell scene, and missed the last meet up. I might be able to meet a few of ya @ Gail's. Plus who doesn't want to demo Buell's, I know I want to....I need another ride on that CR. |

For you lightning owners, shaver on KCSB is selling an H7 HID bulb and ballast for sale for only $50. I think it's unused but not sure what watt it is. But still, it's a good deal. |

I saw that... I THINK it is an 8000K bulb, but don't hold me to that. I would most likely jump all over it, IF I wasn't so dead set on putting a v rod headlight on the front of mine. |

FYI to the KCLW. We are having our 5th annual 3rd of July Party. BBQ, beer and plenty of Boom (family friendly until dark most times). Pretty good time, ask Duff and Sam. PM me for directions and details. 50s and bikes welcome. |

Thought I would post up here I usually hang out in the tuber section. I am looking for some help with getting my 01 x1 "tuned" properly. I had enough with dealing with the Harley shop here in Topeka. I bought the bike about 5 months ago from a guy out of Wichita. He told me that the TPS needed to be reset since the bike has a problem idling properly. I took it to Harley to have them do this after the bike sitting there over a month and a big long go around with them I went and got it back. I'm still not sure wtf they tried to charge me almost $200.00 for but I told them to go ..... The bike runs the same as it did when I took it in to them, they tried telling me that all of this was due to the exhaust needing a baffle specially made for it. The bike Sputters around 3k, wont idle at proper rpm (dies when at a stop). Bike has a D&D slip on, race ecu, forcewinder intake with a breather to a catch can. I was talking with some people on the old school section and learned very quickly to never take your buell to a HD shop to have it worked on. Pretty much everyone called BS on the baffle needed for it to run properly. I was informed to get a ECM spy and try to tune it myself. I pretty much suck with this type of thing, I can replace parts and things on my bikes but this is alittle over my head. So i was wondering if anyone has experience with ECM spy and might want to help me out or point me to a shop or person who can get me right? |

Interesting day.. Lets just say it didnt go as planned.. Just venting so stop reading if pointless rants bother you. Dropped my daughter off at her moms around 9:30, threw my riding gear into the car and headed to fails for the buell demo days. I arrive at fails and see a group of demo riders getting from a ride. Approached the registration desk and handed over my license, she handed it to another guy and he tells me its a no go since its expired. Im like WTF.. Doh look at that it expired on my birthday FOUR days ago... hmm I look at him thinking are you serious. Well at least they reminded me it was expired before a cop did but I was surprised they didnt let me ride. Heck I even showed them my current buell key but obviously that didnt help. Well left there bummed as hell and headed to my buddies house where my bike was since its been down and out for a while. Worked on it tell 5ish and got it running which made my day tell I heard about the weather. Well hopefully the weather plays nice tomorrow and I can finally ride the beast a good distance. Ending the day watching a little "On any Sunday".. |

Pics look great. That video however... you must have been doing 150-250mph. Everything looks about 2x faster than what it should be. I am jealous, and want one of those GoPro Cams. |
