The buell race pipe is $1,800 and the race ecm is $775.00. |

That's got to be the best looking pipe for the 1125. Yikes! The race ecm is a bit pricey!!! |

So, stick with the stock pipe and the ecm-spy/cable and get 140+ hp at the wheel for umm, $150 versus $2600 for the race pipe and new ecm and get roughly 150 hp. Hmmmmmm...... I dunno, something isn't adding up for me here. |

I agree with D_adams and just my very simple input here guys but I do not race and do occasional track days and my way less then $100.00 muffler "system" has my stock 1125R running very well indeed to have way more then enough fun for either the street or an occasional track day. I like the sound (more agressive)but not ear shattering and I find for 98% of my riding I have way more H.P then could ever be used sanely on the street and my bike is totally reliable. Just how fast do we have to go? Having the capability of 150 mph plus is plenty; all the rest is either for honest track racers or just an ego trip. I have always been a H.P. guy but you have to know when enough is just right. Maybe I'm just getting older and wiser. Stay safe out there. Bob |

I tend to agree with you Bob, but HP is good for alot more than top speed runs. |

I love the look of the race-pipe headers. Real beauty would be race headers with Dris & Bud's Torque Hammer. It's too long, maybe a Drummer... Z |

Zack, did you see the pictures of Dris and Bud's racer with the TH slipon with a full set of headers that they are developing? Dris even came back and commented about possibly having them out next winter. They have a little bit longer headers than the race pipe. I'll be in line get some to go with my TH. |

Question; Would an AHDRA race license allow you to buy the Buell race pipe? G |

Probably a better question for Henry Duga or your AUTHORIZED BUELL DEALER than the internet. I'll bet it would. |

You know the funny thing about HP? The really fast guys at the track ride slow bikes like SV650s. If ya wanna go fast, more HP won't do much for you. At least, compared to investments in yourself like riding lessons. If you insist on buying trick parts, spend your money on great suspension and better tires. That will always be a much bigger impact than a few HP. |
