Looks nice The Uly pegs are a good pick, the black ones are "stickier" than the silver. Get the front-brake-recall done soon. Recall code 0838 Get a Firebolt Select seat. Madav8tr, I after I clean the bike. I spray a little bit of FP10 on the exhaust. It has kept it looking pretty new. I brought the bike in Nov of last year. I have 3200 miles on it now. |

Zac4mac, I was just at the dealer getting a turn signal replaced a few days ago. He checked the brake line and said that it since it was not rubbing it was not to have the recall done. Is that correct? |

He checked the brake line and said that it since it was not rubbing it was not to have the recall done. Is that correct? That is not correct. This is a safety recall and mandated by law and thus it is not optional. There are two different recall kits. One for if the brake line shows wear and one for if it does not. Both kits relocate the brake line from the inside of the fork to the outside of the fork. |

Sounds good Spectrum. I will have them order the kit and preform it. |

The "no damage" kit contains a new bracket to move the brake line outboard more and route it OUTSIDE the fork leg like the 09, not inside, like it still is.. Spectrum is spot on. Z |

Done, it only took them about 30 mins. During the wait I took a demo on a Rocker. Wow! That was fun |

Just looking at the pics of your 1125r. Very clean, beautiful bike. You mentioned that you put FP10 on the exhaust. What is that? I see that the pipe is very shiny. How long does it stay on before reapplication? |

FP-10 is a firearm lubricant... I'd be interested to know how it reacts to the heat of the exhaust... |

Pariah, after I clean the bike I spray just a bit of FP-10 on the exhaust and then spread it around evenly by hand. I wipe off the excess before I ride. It has kept my exhaust looking like new. |
