Got to ride for a little while yesterday. Some pics. And one more because I'm feeling nostalgic and I'm trying out my Photobucket.

Frame will be a different color soon, maybe black...maybe not. Color change coming this winter. As far as the tires...They were on it when I bought it and I don't have the cash to change tires just for the hell of it. When they wear out I'll get something different. The header...Lol. I was wondering if anybody would notice. I should have known. I done a quick polish job just to see how hard it would be and what kind of polish worked best (I had a few on hand) I'm gonna finish them up soon and get some LusterLace to try. Good eye. Is that skull the key? I've never looked closely at an R, so I don't recognize the background bits. ~SM |

Yes, skull key. Wifey got that for me for Christmas in '07. I didn't know until she gave it to me but she had to send my key to some guy in Texas to make it and it was the only key I had. Good thing he sent it back. She contacted the guy on Ebay that sells them for the HD's and he said he could make one if he had the key. I had to trim down the ring around the ignition so I could turn it to lock but it works well and looks wicked. The memorial wall is at Smokin H-D (formerly Curly's H-D) in Winston-Salem. There are more pics on their website but it's basically for people that rode that have passed on. You can submit names to the dealer and when they have enough to fill up a slab they add to it. I don't know anybody on it and hope I never will but it's a nice gesture. |
