I think its some kind of conspiracy against me. Duff doesnt want me to know where its at because he knows that he will get schooled on wheelies on the way there. |

papa bobs then we hung out at gail's hd for about an hour or two. Fun story from last night: I was riding up to legends around 7 to meet a buddy of mine. We were going to go watch the hangover (which is hilarious btw). I took 435 north from OP. on the way up, this ASSBAG in a accord kept riding my tail. about 3 ft off my rear tire at 75 mph. i kept looking back and waving him past me. if i slowed down, he would just stay behind me. if i sped up, he would (eventually) catch up, and get right on me again. eventually, i got annoyed and hammered down (lane split a couple cars) and left him. about a minute later the guy was back on my freaking ass. LUCKILY there was a cop that saw this happen (how often do we say that!?) cop caught me on radar at 88 (i think he said). he called for back up to get the other car, while he pursued me. i pulled over at the legends off ramp. pulled out my key, and dropped it on the ground, avoiding any drains (thanks to John's story at the last meet up, i remembered to look). the cop got out and asked if i knew the guy. i said i had no clue who it was, and explained the situation, which he seemed to believe b/c he saw part of it happen. he was really cool, and COULD have busted me for speeding, but just wrote me a ticket for expired tags. i am also lucky he didn't see me about a minute or 2 before he actually caught me on radar. i am not going to say how fast i was going on a public forum (don't want to incriminate myself)... but i REALLY wanted that guy off my ass. the officer told me they caught the car and got them for 90 in a 65, AND for following too close. rags like that are the reason that bikers get killed. He probably thought his crappy Accord was fast and he was gonna prove it by "keeping up" with a sportbike....what a moron. But then again, anythings possible in WyCo. |

I don't know if any of you guys listen to 96.5, but I heard a BUELL ad on the radio today. Slimfast (from the afternoon show) had a spot talking about his new 1125 he just bought from Gail's. The entire add was about Buells, and how they fit in with all crowds... from HD cruisers, to the sportbike scene. I don't know if he actually got a Buell, or just a BS radio ad, but I don't mind Buell getting a little recognition. |

I heard that add on 96.5 as well, did you also see that Gail's is having another BUELL demo the 26th and 27th. |

I dont know if you guys have bought a bike from Gails before, but I would highly advise against it. There service department is good, but their sales and sales management are terrible. My 1125R was a lemon when I first bought it, and I tried to get them to help me out with it....they said they would give me 2k trade in, and this happened 4 months after I payed 12k for it. Take your bike there if you need service stuff done, but if youre trying to buy something then go somewhere else. |

Oh here we go again.... I hate you, Steve. I've bought 2 bikes from Gail's. And I'll by more from them if I had the cash. |

Im glad someone had a good experience. As far as im concerned, Gail can go take a flyin f*ck at a rollin donut. If they cant even back up the stuff they sell then theyre not gonna have my business.....If I were dying of dehydration and they had the last bottle of water on earth I wouldnt buy it from them. |

I had the worst luck with Gail's service dept. Every thing they did to my bike had to be done two or three times before it was done right. I might buy another bike from them, but I learned my lesson with letting their booger hooking knuckle draggers touch my bike. |

Yeah, I don't give a rat's ass who is on here or not on here. They know me and my bike. I know none of it was personal and everything was made right in the end. I have no beef with any one person there and I have never named names on here (always a 'they' or 'the booger hooker/knuckle dragger'). They used an impact driver on my fork caps, pretty much mangled them, and tried to pass it off as 'mission accomplished'. The service manager ordered new ones for me, but I had to bring the bike back a week later to have them installed. That's just one incident. I bought the prepaid service with the bike. There was an incident like that at every single service interval. My belt broke under warranty so I brought it to them for replacement. They dinged my swingarm brace and only ordered me a new one after I pointed it out. The SM was cool about it and just shipped the replacement brace to my house. After each and every time I brought the bike in, I would have hardware missing. I stopped bringing the bike to them about two years ago. I was always nice and always a good sport about it, but I am not shy about letting others know of my experience there. Someone who is less meticulous or less observant than I might have a different experience, but my bike was pristine when I brought it to them for service and I expected it to be pristine when I rode it home. No loose or missing screws, disconnected connectors, scratches, dings, etc... Oh yeah, on at least two of the oil changes I let them do, I rode off only to discover a few miles down the road that my oil tank was full to overflowing. Your fan will run continuously if the oil is over-serviced. Also, there were several times where I discovered rounded off or severely marred screws. I inspected the bike carefully before and after each service interval. I never left the dealership before I removed the seat and looked over every square mm of the bike. Everything I found wrong with their work was found right there in the parking lot. (Message edited by lowflyer on June 14, 2009) |

I didn't remember to take pictures or did not have my camera with me for things they fixed on the spot, but here are the few that I did take: http://picasaweb.google.com/lowflyer00/DealerBuffo onery?authkey=Gv1sRgCKnZpuPl0J6W_AE# Again, I never had a beef with anyone there, but to me, shiddy work is shiddy work; I don't care who does it. If I do shiddy work, I have to fix it. If I pay someone to do the work and they do shiddy work, they fix it. My tolerance for shiddy work may be lower than other people's tolerance for shiddy work. |
