I'd love to see a rainbow painted buell for all the Gay Pride Stuff in Milwaukee. Not my thing but more power to ya. Buell needs all the riders it can get. |

Is there anyone else that is not going to road America on sat.? I was there last year and seen it done that. Was hoping a local could take us on a ride through the kettle morian area. Too much fun was had there last year with Flic. leading our group on the adventure ride. Other wise buell party at the country view camp ground in Mukwonago. Can't miss the big black truck and trailer. Thanks Matt |

Matt (Loose1), My name is Jason and just happen to live in the town of Mukwonago not far from were you are camping. If the weather holds out this weekend, I would love to show you and your crew around for a while. I have lived here my whole life so I know the roads just about better than anyone. If this interests you call me at (262)378-4558. Me and Adam B. should team up (we are in the same club), I'm sure we could work something out and show you a good time. PeaceOut |

Depending on what time my two daughter's bday party ends .. I can possibly oblige as well .. I led a little jaunt through the kettle Homecoming before last ... Also could provide a little hospitality Friday or Saturday night .. fire, drinks ..etc... (and leftover Bday cake on Saturday) Who is doing what Friday and Saturday night ? Also - hopefully it won't be needed - but my garage came in handy for a few Bueller's the last two Homecoming's so I figured I would throw it out there that if anyone needs a place to wrench or fix anything ... my place is open .. I will be at teh factory on Friday - other than that my schedule is pretty loose and can accommodate those in need ... my number is in the BRAN ... With the concurrence of Blake and the Moderators . . . this marks the commencement of the Annual Buell Homecoming Controversial Thread Embargo. Controversial threads will resume, on schedule, next Monday night at midnight. In the meantime if you have a political rant or 94 problems with your motorcycle please feel free to visit SacBorg . . . who's members will provide emergency on-call therapy during this embargo.

For the folks not heading up to Road America you might want to wander up to Port Washington where they're having the annual Pirate's Fest. Booths, music, people dressed up as pirates, cannons shooting off across the water. Not sure if they're having any tall ships in port this year. http://www.portpiratefestival.com/ Just an alternative idea. I'll be working at the bicycle shop. Oh, and keep an eye open if you're riding around the Milwaukee area on Sunday as it's the Miller Ride for the Arts bicycle ride. Hope you all have a great Homecoming. (And I probably shouldn't mention this but I haven't even started up my Buells this year yet, I'll go sit in the corner now....) PS, to a certain someone down in East Troy, if you have the book with you today will you be going by Hal's this evening at all? Some things came up and it doesn't look like I'll make it to the factory but am trying to at least get to Hal's. PPS, Steve, I've got a question or thought to throw at you about that sudden workload you have.... not looking to get hired, just getting some possible exposure or enlightenment to your side of the industry. (I'll sign a non-disclosure if necessary...) PPPS, Court and Dave, are either or both of you going to be at Hal's tonight????? Just want to say hi if you are. PPPPS, to everyone riding today, why are you reading this and not out riding, the weather outside looks great. |

What gate should I enter at Road America to park by the Buell tent? I don't think I can make it to Hal's by 8am. |

Gate 4 should work. Go through the tunnel. Things might be in that area. Not sure though. |

The weather is not promising. We are going to see the pirates instead of the races. Thanks for the suggestion MikeJ. |

Her shirt pictures are more interesting than mine, but I got signed. I didn't quite have the guts to ask Erik to sign my girlfriend. |

I have missed homecoming all for the joy of packing and cleaning out my apartment. I should have told them (new employer) ten days to roll rather than five. That was pretty silly of me, but seven months of unemployment can make you act like a rabid dog when the money is right in front of your face. I drive to st. louis tomorrow but my final destination will be determined late august (probably Houston). So Blake should be happy. Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. Some are making a bigger sacrifice than me to just make a living... The goal is to NOT endure another winter up here in Wisconsin. |

I'm back from the pirate thing. The most wonderful thing about carrying a camera is that you can walk up to beautiful women, ask to take their picture, and they just get all bubbly. Lollypop girl: Giggly Girl: Dagger Girl: Wooden Girl:

Char: You're gonna love Houston winters--they're probably a lot like Wisconsin summers! Houston summers, on the other hand, are, well, hot. Looking forward to welcoming you to Texas! rt |

A few pics to share... All packed up and ready to go: Finally arrived and got set up before dark: Ratbuell's very nice S2: Coffee at the campground (Thanks, Court!!): The BMC parking lot: The 1125R with full body work that Hal's had on display: Erik and the Thunderbolts jam out at Hal's: I had just cleaned my helmet about 20 miles before reaching my house...This is how the bugs in PA welcomed me home: (Message edited by ponti1 on June 07, 2009) |

WTF?! How'd I miss Court's coffee? That's what I get for taking the time to brush my teeth instead of just heading up with last-night's-cigar-breath. Speaking of, did that pic you took of my brushing turn out, Court? I didn't get to thank you properly, but thanks for the stories and lunch at Dos Amigos! |

I guess my write up and pics did not take. I will not retype the whole thing so I will just list the best things about Homecoming to me. Meeting Sharon and Jim and riding with Buellhusker (Jim) from his home to WI. Talking to the factory techs about the 2010 Uly upgrade Riding the XB 2298 miles. 475 of those in rain. I got rained on today the whole time I was in NE. Mr Court delivering coffee. Meeting new friends and seeing old ones. Talking to EB about the lack of heat off the right side of the XB. Meeting Kim T and talking to her about the S2 Gathering.
