this one hurt and I'm not talking about my legs arms ect. I can't even look at my bike right now I am so disappointed. I laid her down in some gravel and broke left turn signal, put dent in frame (can be covered by frame pucks, but still), broke clutch lever, scratched up the plastics on left side, looks like I rubbed off the clear coat on sections of the body, and put a scratch on the primary cover. I am sick. |

Don't worry. It doesn't sound so bad. Bike parts are cheaper than body parts. Just be glad that you're ok. A new signal, lever, frame pucks, and some spray paint and you'll never know she went down. |

Scratches, like scars, are great stories. |

I agree. I never replaced my primary cover after I spilled my Firebolt years ago. It's quite obvious, but it reminds me that I was the lucky one that day. Glad you're OK. |

Drink a lot of Gatorade type drink over the next couple of days. It will help you. |

It happens to the best of us. You are proof of that. It's the part of riding that we tend to not think about much. Clutch lever and turn signal combined will be about 40 bucks. Get back on that horse and ride. |

as we most know your motorsickle will require "seasoning" during ownership, just be glad your "event" was minor . so now that your motorsickle is properly "seasoned", go & ride the pi$$ out of it . |

Get some Traction hand grips from buell. They're cheap, work/feel great, and they have a closed end so they'll cover the open end where your plug is missing. Or if you get some open ended grips you could get some bar ends. Dark Horse Moto makes some really nice ones, i've seen them in action and they work well. |

Don't feel bad dude. I seasoned MY bike on the test ride! It just makes me love the bike even more! Repairs: Traction grips, dented header, f-ed up footpegs, little scrapes on the fork, and the swingarm, scratched up turn signal, and mirror. I left the dent and the scrapes alone, and fixed the footpegs and grips................all fine compliments to the bikes personality. I don't think there is a thing I own that dose'nt have a bit of "rat" to it................................................... Fix er up and ride!............................................. ...Oh,and no barfing on the bike (or in yer helmet)! |

Y'all ought to see my poor bike. It's been down on both sides. Carbon fiber frame savers did their job nicely, but they're pretty ugly now. I know how you feel though, I hit my neighbor's dog on the way to the dealer to get the 1000 mile service done. I was sick I dented my new bike's frame (this was before the invention of frame pucks), then later that day my neighbor came over and told me his dog had to be put down because of the accident. |

Just goes to show, no matter how your day happens to be, someone somewhere is having a better day than you. No, wait... |
