I got an award today!!!
Yep,from Milford hospital...7 stitches on the palm of my right thumb.I was tightening a nut in a machine when the worn wrench slipped off and i sliced myself across a drill edge
I *think* i can still ride.

I was just at bettencourt's in Bridgewater picking up some parts for my dirtbike....they have an 08 scg sitting on their lot. This can only mean someone traded it in for some rice. Heartbreaking. |

Chip: That's nothin'. I once saw a Firebolt in the lot at Red Streak Motors in Marlboro. They sell those Korean/Chinese fallapart bikes (Kymco, Hyosung).

Anyone have a set of forks for a mountain bike they would like to sell?
The fork brace on my forks are broke and need another set. I do have suspension in the front.
getting the mountain bike back together, trying to shed some poundage. |

Nah I had a yardsale this past weekend and I had my XR80 out there for sale. Some guy comes by and I start shootin the shit with him about the 80. He tell me that he is looking for a bike for his nephew because he outgrew the bike he has now. Long story short, we ended up trading dirtbikes. My 87 XR80 for this 01 JR50. I was only asking 400 bucks for the 80.
Funny thing is, that little 50 can cart my fat ass around. |

OK I need lowers for my forks because the brake brace snapped in the last crash that I had. Does anyone know how to rebuild Mnt bike forks?
I found a set of lowers on Egay for 40 bucks. |

MTN bike forks are disposable. I had a set go south on me and no shop I could find would rebuild them. Wound up getting a set of Marzocchis off eGay.

9ish???? Dunno I defer to greg on this.
If we're going to have new faces and different skill levels represented, I hope everyone will review the "so you wanna ride with us thing above". Just to minimize the chances of any mishaps or confusion.
We just medflighted ANOTHER rider last nite. This time, it wasn't the riders fault. Some drunk lady clipped the poor guy while she was weaving down the highway. She then got out of her car, looked at the mangled guy, got back in her car and took off. She didn't get too far, her brandy new caddy cts stalled out half mile down the road.
So with last week and last nite being so fresh in my mind, keeping everyone as safe as can be is a priority. Read up, peeps. |
