Hi everybody,
I have recently noticed at a red light a pulsating sensation on the handlebars of my 99 M2 when the front brake was applied like something is loose, it stops once the brake lever is released, I haven't found anything wrong so far and it does not happen always.
The bike seems to be braking fine and it's only noticeable at full stop.
Has anyone experienced this? Thanks.

A. Mack

I think you're feeling the engine vibration pulsing up through the forks. With the brakes on, the vibration is transferred down the forks, into the wheel assembly (which is locked up solid with the brake on), and back up to your hands. With the brake off, the vibration is hidden by the slight rocking motion of the front wheel (it's not locked up anymore). I don't know if this answers your question or not.

I don't know if it applies but I have heard of front isolators wearing out on XB models and doing exactly what you are describing... but I have no idea about engine mounting on an M2
