So this will be my first homecoming and I was wondering where everyone is lodging at? I don't mind camping either, rather perfer it actually but either way will work. Any help is much appreciated. |

Just for S&G, I checked for hotels on google. Looks like the only one in town is a Country Inn & Suites at ~$98/night. I'm sure there's other stuff not too far away. |

So there isn't a Buell host hotel this year. Bummer. |

If you need a "host hotel" stay at the Country Suites in East Troy (100 yards from Buell) or the Sleep Inn in Mukwonago. Fact is things, like the factory, museum and Road America, are scattered over about an 80 mile radius so you can pretty much stay anywhere that suits ya and adjust your schedule. May not be bad to do one night near Buell and then move to around the track. It's really easy in the area cause there are plenty of places to stay. |

I'm poor this year. I'm staying at the Motel 6 in Brookfield. It's 40 bucks a night, and I'm splitting a room with someone else. The Motel 6 is reasonably close to Hal's, where a lot of events are happening. It's not too far from East Troy, and it's a bit closer to Road America. There are some folks camping; but I think that by sharing a room, I'm getting off cheaper. |

Thanks SquidB. Is there anyone else looking to split a room? I'm a little poor myself. (Message edited by charlie_zulu on June 01, 2009) |

I don't mind camping either, rather perfer it actually but either way will work. camping would be kool or should I say COOL? The temperatures are going to be in the 50's at night here. But if your tough and ride a Buell, no problem! But I would suggest bring some warm riding gear for the evenings. |

I live in Northern MN on the northern shore of Lk Superior. The high today was 45 degrees, the lo was 36. Lets just say I'm accustomed to riding in the cold. Thanks for the heads up. |

Cool I hope to see you people there. Just stripped my threads in the swing arm/ oil drain today while changing fluids for this trip The mechanics at work figure they can fix it, they deal with crap like that all the time. |
