That place is pretty good. Dosen't hold a candle to some of the better spots in Milwaukee however. La Perla is good and the other joint just south of National is excellant, can't remember the name. |

Dave: What the heck is the name of the place that Derek, Dano and I used to go to in Waukesha in the middle of the night? That was some KILLER Mexican food. I've not idea why . . . but I am nuts over Mexican food (ask me why some time) and Milwaukee seems to have some of the best in the USA. And . . in NYC you NEVER eat anything called "Mexican" food or Chicken Fried Steak. Ergo . . when I get around places that I have it . . I'll eat if for breakfast, lunch and dinner if I get a chance. |

NYC "Mexican" food isn't edible... The best in California usually comes from your friends Mom or wife! |

Mexican in Waukesha? Most likely then known at Jalisco's, now La Estacion. Almost ate there tonight, but my mom made me lasagna. Can't pass up a good home cooked meal made by mom! For good Mexian real cheap, just a stones throw from the Harley-Davidson Museum, Conejito's Place is the place. Court - remember Jack's Birthday (I think it was) one year? That's the place. 1313 |

Brankin is right, it used to be Jalisco's. AWESOME food. Best Mexican I've ever had. Have not eaten at the new place however. |

Last year, Bud C directed Terri, Andrea and I to El Estacion for dinner one night. It was delicious. However, I doubt I could find it again. I bet I can find Dos Amigos in East Troy, though! |

That's the place . . . Jalisco's. I couldn't recall the name but I could drive there blindfolded. When I was half of "The Buell Odd Couple", Derek would get home from the gym about the time I was getting home from the office, generally around 10:00PM. . . . . one, maybe two nights a week, we'd head there, sometimes calling Dano on the way and it was not surprising to get there at 10:30pm and run into 3 or 4 folks from Buell. Great memories . . . I'm getting hungry. |

Who knows if it's as good as it used to be and I'm sure I won't have time to make it this trip but the place provided some great memories . . . . . I will . . come hell or high water. . . . make it to Dos Amigos. May a great idea have started as sketches on their napkins. |

Good Mexican food is when you break wind and it crawls down your leg to eat the heels out of your socks. Great Mexican food requires one to take an electric fan to the bathroom the next day. |
