24hr time, and a 0415 wakeup.. I like this guy. Cory, check your PMs. I might be able to meet you in the STL area Thurs morning. I had a different route planned but riding with some fellow Buellers might make going off-track worthwhile "2000 DRINKS?! TBD!"

btw someone's going to have to show me nature road while I'm in WI. Pete Hoffman (petethekiller) keeps telling me about it, and I've heard it mentioned from other WI residents before. Sounds like a good place to scare the crap out of myself on a Buell. |

Hahahahaha. . . Nature Trail! . . . Used to be one of the standard "test" venues and YES. . . . a great chance to scare the hell out of yourself. With about zero warning you can be major airborne. In my old age, more aware of the risks. I take it MUCH slower but always make the run a couple of times. A couple years ago at an event I took a group on a ride. . . . . . fun stuff! Cory. . . .I'd make one change: 0845 LEAVE MUKWONAGO, WI (I-43) 0846 0900 ARRIVE @ EAST TROY, WI/HOMECOMING EVENTS (I-43 EXIT 36) My schedule is a bit looser. . . . Thursday - Arrive(I rely on my wife to tell me which one - don't laugh . .. Erik's worse and if you want a HILARIOUS story ask me to tell you at Homecoming how the band ended up playing the same night as the Buell dinner last year at Homecoming) Do Stuff Monday - Leave |

That's almost my schedule. The differences are I'm going to arrive on Wednesday, and leave Sunday after the Races. Otherwise, it's the same. Good Mexican in East Troy? I would love to go! (Mexican in Massachusetts is worse than Mexican in NYC.) |

Thanks guys, yeah the schedule you all see isn't uhhh... how can I put this. The one I have? I wrote it just like a patrol matrix so everything was converted from military jargon to civ to make it more understandable instead of acronyms scattered everywhere. The mil time and some stuff stayed. The woman doesn't like the wake up calls, but those are sleeping in for me! Active Duty - lol I want to try and get the most out of the experience and just have a great time, but while we are there I left some time loose to add things in in a few places. Like rides, bs sessions, etc. Phil I will call you later to work some details out with you, we'd love to have you in the Buell Convoy Home. |

Cory: Not necessarily a "bad thing" . . . I, for a number of years, have considered a hostile take over of either Mukwonago or East Troy . . . this may be the year, with our Military friends, to seize control of the city! You'll have a fabulous time. This is predicted to be one of the best Homecoming events ever. |

BTW, I am an AVID Crown Royal addict. I even have the "Brew Masters DVD"... Canada got something right, and I dig it! I actually thought about taking my Special Reserve bottle, but... May not have room. We'll see. Although it would be a good excuse to use my CR Flask. Court, just say the word I can start a 3, 5 or 7 hour plan complete with warning order and annexes. I can't wait! |

The birds aren't even awake at 0415 RPM. I don't have much of a choice if I want to make it there AND be at Hals... To each their own, my normal work schedule gets me up around 3-4 everyday anyways. All you need is coffee! |

Geforce - Love that you have put a schedule together, so I don't have to dig through all the starting times. Wish I could ride with you on Thurs. My arrival time will be later than yours though. My day will look something like: 0400 - Leave North Carolina 2200 - Arrive New Berlin I've got to schedule a stop at the Milwaukee airport in there as well. The g/f has the sense not to accompany me on Iron Butt rides. She is flying. |

I haven't done a good job of planning which events to attend at what time, so I guess I'll be winging it this year. Last year I had lots of stuff planned out but ended up skipping all of Friday night's festivities replacing intake gaskets in the hotel parking lot |

I'm all about winging it...The only things I have planned are: 1) Arrive Thursday mid-to-late afternoon 2) Friday at BMC 3) Saturday to the HD museum 4) Sunday to Road America 5) Find this Mexican joint I keep hearing about AT LEAST once 6) Head toward home at some point Monday EDIT: I just realized this doesn't really sound like winging it...Would it help if I said EVERYTHING on the list is "tentative"? Am I the only person that has ever worn chaps on an X1? They happen to be extremely comfortable! Yeah, yeah they look out of place - who cares. My Buell looks out of place everywhere I go and that's why I like it. How far are you willing to take the term "different in every sense"? (Message edited by pkforbes87 on June 01, 2009) |

Hey all -- It's been a while since I have posted on BadWeb. Now a 'local', I live near McHenry, IL about 50 mi from East Toy. (Formerly of SLAB and AL) This year I'll be on my Ulysses. Haven't made any real "plans" so I'll wing it. I'll have to borrow some of the routes posted since I'm not familiar with the area. I'd be up for a small group ride Saturday Friday to destination tbd after the factory tours. Friday looks like 70 and sun. Sat only a 30% chance of showers.
