Dyna, I stopped in at Suburban and asked about the V-drag model. The counter guy said they sold the few they had right away, but they were going to order more at the dealer's show this week. |

Mike, has anyone mentioned what the price is?? I can get em on e-bay for right around $60 but then add another $10 shipping. I would go that route, but if I could get it at Hals for less |

Didn't think to ask the price, but I'd guess similar to their other model prices which seem to range between $25-$Waytomuch. Give them two weeks and see what they say when they return from the dealer show/party. |

If you go to the meeting, focus in real sharp on their face (poker-face focus) and ask if they heard anything about the 55"wheelbase Buell and see if you get anything except a confused look. |

Bomber...Thanks for the offer, but I am sticking with "the checks in the mail routine." That way no one is stuck holding the bag for long. |

And now a moment from your sponser: A half-helmet is not half-better than no-helmet. A full-helmet with good vents is better than a half-helmet in any situation more dangerous than a showroom. Helmet-hair is always better than road-rash. If your Harley friends are truely friends they will not hassle you for your choice of personal protection. Peer pressure sucks. But not as much as death. I have a half-helmet at home that's been loaned to a friend riding passenger. A half-helmet is better than nothing, but not by much. A full-face helmet is on the shopping list for this summer as soon as the budget allows. A full-face $100 DOT approved helmet is better than any $250 half-shell. Although the half-shell is easier to use as a scoop, if you get my drift. Ride your own ride, and use your best judgement. The choice is your's. This is all I'll ever say on this subject. Live and learn, or live and die, some things we can adjust our odds of survival on. I've ridden lidless, and open-face, and half-shell, and now 99.9% of the time I only ride full-face. YMMV. ps, a full-face helmet does make for a dandy shopping basket for those quick trips to the store. But people look at you a little funny when you unload 6 yogurt cups from your lid at the checkout counter. |

ROTFLMAO . . .. you mean Ponch and John weren't properly geared up? how about a Bronson-signature Watch Cap . . . . affter all, he wore them while Motorcrossing his sportster, didn't he? btw . . .the show in Rosemont next month typically has great deals on helmets and other gear . . . you can deal on Sunday, when the poor guy's lookin at all the stuff he's gotta crate up and send home . . . .. . . |
