Yeah - I could make that work - using a very modified version of the stock shifter, deleting peg and sanding down to a thinner shift arm, paint gloss black, attaching a linkage to the peddle assembly - form plates and spacers, longer grade 8 bolts. I already have the linkage rod and i'm working on the plates, so I would just need to modify the stock shifter correct? I would like to use they're complete setup (shifter arm and brake arm) Could that be done? Or is that what you said above and I'm not reading it right? | ||

I dont see why they wont work 'as is'. The Blast brake rod will probably hook up and you'll need a rod for the shifter. You wont really know until you hook them up on the bike as to what you'll need exactly. Nice simple set-up and it should look good. | ||

The same website where I got these rearsets (in the mail BTW, I CAN'T WAIT!) also sells fork braces and clip ons. Does anyone know what size the fork tubes are? the prices of their fork braces are awesome, I'd like to try them out. Thanks. | ||

If you find a brace that would work please let me know or if you know what to look for also let me know and I'll do the searching. That site is awesome BTW. | ||

OK, this is one cool site. . . Thanks Garlic! I am working on rearsets over the next winter (one stage at a time in the conversion) and will definitely look at ordering here - they even have the rest of the parts. | ||

Has anyone come up with a good plan for passenger pegs once you have rearsets? My delay in moving to rearsets is entirely related to fact that I sometimes have a passenger and removing the peg brackets eliminates the passenger pegs as well. I have been kicking around a few ideas but wanted to know if anyone else had already tackled the problem? | ||

I'm having some trouble with my rearsets. The problem is that it takes alot of up and down travel to shift. Should I shorten up the shifter that's connected to the primary so it's the same length as the shifter linkage on the pegs? thanks | ||

The shifter connected to the primary should be as long as the shifter (linkage) on the pegs. But you can adjust the length at the primary to suit your taste. You can also adjust the angles at which they sit for different shifting. | ||

Here is an question to ponder Whats is the most comfortable riding position on a Blast the stock left me always wanting to swing my legs back Crossroads performance setback 8 1/2back 2 1/2up is killing my old knees has anyone made a measure of something more comfortable? im going to redo my setbacks once i find the best position | ||
