I am moving to Dayton, NJ soon and will need to find a new dealer to get my 1125R serviced. I would appreciate information and experiences with the following dealerships (Good and Bad), which are reasonably close to where I will live (According to the Buell website). 1. Highroads 2. Liberty 3. Brian's 4. Long Branch 5. Ocean County Thanks for your help! Mike |

Liberty & Highroads are owned by the same family. I can't attest for Highroads since I haven't used them but I know that Liberty is Buell friendly. |

I go to Brian's and love it! They have been very proactive with my bike and are always interested in what I think in regards to the issues with the bike. |

I believe Highroads used to be H-D/Buell of Edison. I bought my bike there in Dec.08 and they didn't have anyone there that was real familiar with the 1125R(they'd only sold two),that would stay long enough to work on any. One employee told me to take my bike to Liberty. Of course, this may have changed with time and/or the change of ownership(if that is the case). |

Everyone, thanks for all the great feedback!! I really appreciate it! It will help me figure out which dealer to start with. I did a dyno shoot-out at Liberty last year and got a chance to speak with Moose, who has seemed to disappear from the board here. After that, I never heard from them again. I just went to the bike show at Ocean and really liked the cleanliness and friendliness of the whole dealership. The service area was immaculate. They also had a great lounge. My wife liked it as well. I was, however concerned that the "Buell" showroom had only two Buells in it and was mostly filled with a bunch of clothes and gear. Again, I appreciate all of your feedback. Mike (Message edited by kttemplar on May 27, 2009) |

Buelltech, Thanks for the offer. I will shoot you an e-mail. the fact that you are knee deep into your 1125R (plus the other things I mentioned earlier) makes me think that I should try Ocean first. Mike |

Liberty bought the Edison dealership and I, just based on my personal experience with Liberty, would have no reservations about taking an 1125R there. If you have any questions call Chris (Odinbueller) at Liberty and ask him. He is a thoroughly trained 1125R tech. Court |

Moose got moved from service to help realign and organize a parts department. If he's anything like me and the basement . . . organizing could be a life's pursuit. Regardless of where you are going, even to another dealership, I'd recommend him as a resource to ask. He's been to all the 1125R training and has an unusual familiarity with the bike. He'd shoot straight in telling you if he had any "go" or "avoid" pointers about anyplace. I've found him to be trustworthy. Is Ocean the dealer down buy Atlantic City? There used to be a fellow down there who was an avid Buell fan when I'd stop in from time to time. It's be worth looking in to. Let me know if I can help |

Court, Again, thanks! HD/Buell of Ocean County, which I referred to as Ocean, is between Freehold and Toms River a little to the east of the 9 on the 70. I do not think it is the one you are thinking of close to Atlantic City. Mike (Message edited by kttemplar on May 28, 2009) |
