Hey guys i have been running a jardine exhaust for about 3,000 miles. I also removed my solenoid, inner airbox cover and im running the K&N filter. The bike is popping and backfiring horribly on deceleration every once in a while it does it at WOT. my AFV's are Front:116 Rear:100 I have already Tried the Pro Tune 3 and it made the bike run horrible. Is there anyone who could help me have this bike tuned within a week??? i am waiting for OSB but that will probably be about three weeks out. It doesnt need to be the greatest tune just something to compensate for the intake and exhaust. Thanks |

If we give the site or Daves contact info on here I think its frowned upon. But western reserve harley Buell is a sponsor on here. Its in mentor Ohio. Call up service and ask for Jim. There working with dave and have tuning and a dyno there. |

yah i talked to dave yesterday on the phone hitman and it must have been ur bike he was talkin about, we were talkin about someother stuff and he was wondering about what i thought about he newest flash with the drummer and then we got onto the a/f with the jardine, and told me about ur reaction to the difference! didnt know it was u but congrats. its really shocking the difference in between stock map and one with some more fuel. oh maybe it was ur bike and ur reaction spectrum. but if it wasnt within a week then i think it might of been hitman. |

This has to be the pertinent thread I've seen when it comes to tuning the 1125R. Can we discuss fuel maps? Can we discuss global fuel adjustments that give big results? Could someone PM me with this 'forbidden' knowledge? I'd LOVE to see this thread dig deep enough so we can all benefit from some simple fuel mapping. Thanks fellas! |

tis a shame Buell enthusiasts can't share info out in the open. It's also a shame that folks would opine like this without knowing the whole story. To quote the board owner directly: We don't block the link because they are a non sponsor. We do so because we feel they are unethical and due to previous experience dealing with them. Bottom line is that BadWeB will never support those we view as unethical. The good folks who created and thoroughly documented ECMspy didn't do so to provide the basis for others to exploit it for profit. The subject venture applied to sponsor BadWeB. Our only condition was that said venture provide authorization from the ECMspy folks to use ECMspy as a required and integral part of a for profit product. No such confirmation was ever provided, but that didn't stop the unethical party from marketing his product here. After a number of warnings the unethical party had to be banned from posting here. This is not something we enjoy; quite the opposite. We hate having to stand up for our principles and maintain the standards of conduct and terms of use here. Our free time is spent on such things. Having to do so just plain sucks. Letting the forum degrade to one without principles would be worse. We'd wipe the site clean rather than compromise our principles. If this is inconvenient for some, so be it. I myself own a 2009 XB12X. I realize this is only ½ of the story, but while here, we all agreed to play by Blake’s rules. If we can’t or won’t, then we probably shouldn’t be here. Just my opinion & YMMV. |

Exploit ...it? using free soft ware and using your own knowledge to use it to make our bikes run better exploitation. Im not so sure.... I have put over 100 hrs into research on how to tune my bike.... got me know where.... am I stupid...probly.... If someone chooses to use "FREE" software to put "hard work and time into developing a program based on it" geez how many other software programs are out there that people are making millions off of? Im not taking either side but that :exploitation " comment bothers me. I dont see anyone else putting forth a effort to help us... Hell most of us dont like the way our bikes run and Buell cant help us whole heartedly because of the EPA.... it's this what the USA is? Capitalism i think it's called. I like this site it's well run and I understand rules. However holding up progress on all of our passion is kinda silly....... Passion is one of the reasons this site is what it is... Buell owners are passionate! If i'm banned I'm banned...rules are rules. when did Passion = exploitation? some here will understand and others wont...in the end who cares it's bike were all here to have fun and share experience and I'm sure it turns into someone isn't getting theres is the underlying point. And what's strange, his new flash software doesn't require ECMSpy. I watched him do it, it doesn't use anything but the cable. Just my opinion......I'm just a guy that wants to enjoy a beautiful bike and make some friends doing so....... (Message edited by Hitman44139 on May 27, 2009) |

Sooooooooooo? There was an opinion expressed here questioning the decision behind the actions here on BWB. Blake made himself clear on why he did what he did. Choosing to rail against that AGAIN (too many threads now to count of various members complaining that BWB doesn't have any info on this particular company/product) serves what purpose exactly? It's Blake's sandbox. It's his rules. He stated why he made the decision he made. I respect him for that. If other folks can't, then that is their problem. I'm willing to bet it still won't change Blake's decision though. |
