Mine Can. two weekends ago i went to the track on my 00 physcolone. when i got back i parked it and didnt ride it for like almost 2 weeks. i looked in the oil tank and it was EMPTY. "WTF" i said. so i put 1/2 qt in it and rode 1/2 mile to the HD shop to get more. when i got there all the oil was back in the tank at the proper level. Weird HUH? |

No that is what we would like to call, dry sump... The oil from the bag 'drains' down to the motor making the engine look empty, If you started the bike it would have filled back up.. |

On XB and 1125 models, you need to warm the bike up to get a proper oil level. I would assume the tubbers are the same. |

Two weeks and your drained back. I would check the check ball valve at the oil filter adapter it may have debris or is wearing out. |
