how does the dealers assist work exactly???? |

Basically, HD/Buell will finance the bike as if you bought it from them although you would be buying it from me.
There is a fee involved, I think it varies from $200 to $250 per dealership.
You would be making payments to HD/Buell bank. |

As long as your dealer you use doesn't suck, that service is great. When I bought my Long, the seller insisted on doing it through the dealer for tax related reasons, and then it took me about two months to get my non-leined title from the dealer because the only girl they had doing paperwork was out sick. I am not going that route again, but if you needed to finance it could be to your benefit. |

it became so difficult to sell a bike right now.
I've been trying to sell my 1098 for months, everybody asks and wants to buy, but nobody has the money or even if it does, is scared.

it became so difficult to sell a bike right now.
It is a strange market. Sold my '04 BMW RT, the same weekend the guy was coming to pick it up, another guy tells me that if that guy didn't show up to call him back because he wanted it. All of this from a bike I have been trying to sell since January. (Of course in this case, I'm still not sure selling it was a great move since my '09 RT is awaiting the insurance adjuster to figure out if she'll ride again after the freak accident that caused two of us in a 15 minute period to loose control of our bikes at 65 MPH).
I wish I knew if they were going to total my RT. I have been eyeing the CR as a possible second bike.

I test rode a Red 1125CR a few days ago with the standard/raised bars. Much better riding position imho. About the bike?.....All I can say is: Holy freakin sh*%!!
I still say that everytime I think of the test ride.
As soon as I got on and rev'd it ... I though WOW..this is one beautifully designed machine. The power, quickness was fantastic! Scary fast! Oh...and the front brake?? Could stop on a dime and silky smooth!
Yea, I want one big time. GL to whoever buys this one. |

It's really just a matter of time. If you want to shorten the time it takes to sell, you need to lower the price. If you've got the time to wait, keep the price where it is. |

True ...
Just about every week I get at least one person who wants the bike. They're waiting for a check or to sell their bike or something along those lines. Now even more since it's at the bike sellers.
If I drop the price any lower I might as well just take the bike to one of the local bike buyer or wholesalers. Some of their offers were not to bad.
We'll see how the next few weeks go.
Who knows, I may not have to sell it..... :-) |
