I used this Jacket for one Summer, but I'm tall & scrawny so it never really fit right: the sleeves weren't quite long enough and the body of the jacket was just too big. This season, Tourmaster brought it out in "tall" sizes... now I have one that fits and need to unload my old one. If you've never ridden with a mesh jacket, it's like riding with a T-shirt, minus the possibility of leaving your skin all over the highway.
Outer layer is very breathable mesh with padded/reinforced elbows and shoulders. There are snaps on the arms to cut down on flapping. The first inner layer (which snaps into the mesh outer) is water/windproof with a mesh lining. Finally, a quilted liner zips into the water/windproof liner. I've rarely used it with the liners, but I have worn the liners under my leather or my riding suit and they are warm. Like I start sweating if I don't immediately get on the road warm. The armor in the jacket is all removable and CE approved (foam with hard plastic reinforcing) located in the shoulders, elbows, and back (back is just foam; no plastic). Sizing Chart |
