I finally got some time to take some pictures of the Drummer 1125SS on my bike. I’ve got about 120 miles on it and the AFV’s are at 105F/100R so far. I’m at 200’to 800’ elevation and about 60F mean temperature.Between the 3rd reflash and the Drummer, it's happy to run consistently at 2500 RPM and will comfortably lug from 2000 RPM. Its on the loud side but not obnoxious or a ticket magnet. Seat of the pants power observations are generally unreliable, notably with a change in sound, but it really feels like it has more, especially down low. It’s hard not to wheelie first and second gear wheelies are a simple roll on. I’ll try to get a dyno run at Liberty for some hard data.

Looks great! I'm finally getting around to getting mine re-dynoed this weekend. I'll get my numbers posted when I get them. RB |

Thank you for getting some picture up. This pipe seems to have had a challenge of actually showing itself in a decent quality resolution. |

Looks sharp! You say it's the SS,(as in stainless steel)? Was it painted black from Drummer or did you do that? It does look good on the bike. I'd like one but I'm still hesitant of the sound volume. Thanks for posting. |

I still think the drummer looks the best if any of the systems out there besides the one on the immelberger site. I just wish I had a money tree!!! |

Nice looking pipe and I'm sure it runs great but it makes the bike look like you forgot to put the chin spoiler back on. Needs the one that guy with the cherry bomb wheels and monster stickers made. |

~&1k (including shipping & taxes) No need to reprogram. It's designed to run with a stock ECM. http://www.kdfab.com/ is Kevin's website. |

Chris, I updated the website yesterday to include the 1125SS. It's not 100% yet but the basics are there plus a YouTube link that has a sound clip. |

I checked out the youtube clip and it sounds really nice and the numbers look good. They stated that on their dyno they got 123 HP and in order to get dyno jet numbers to add 17% which comes out to roughly 144 HP. I dynoed my bike on a dyno jet and got 128 HP (bone stock). That is a great addition to the HP, in my opinion. I guess I am going to have to sell a kidney or something to get one of these things and some more upgrades for my bike. Quick question: How would installing this pipe affect a warranty? I recently got a 1125r and I really like the looks and sound, but with such a recent purchase I don't want to void the rest of a warranty. |

I never had a problem at Liberty and I've altered every Buell I've owned. But then Liberty is a great Buell dealer. |

I agree with Jerseyguy about Liberty H-D/Buell.They will be dyno'ing my stock '08 1125R and they were happy to install the Drummer for me then re-dyno after some "learnin". |

And I just ordered a certain Performance Flash Utility and a cable so after I have my '08 1125R dyno'ed with stock pipe then Drummer, I will load this Flash Utility and re-dyno with Drummer. Should be some fun ... |

Ccmdoc, If I may make a suggestion, dyno before the flash utility, dyno after the flash utility. Then install the Drummer and then dyno. Just a shot in the dark, but the mapping will have to be re-adjusted for the Drummer for peak performance. The Performance Flash Utility was intended for a stock muffler. |

Before and after Dyno results will be very interesting to see. Cant wait. |

Teach, i am sure you are correct about needing to make some adjustments to the map after the Drummer is installed. On the other hand, i think most people would like to see the effects of the Drummer on the stock bike without re-mapping so I think I will go that route first. Thanks, Paul |

I put quite a few miles on my '08 1125r this weekend on the southern Delmarva peninsula in MD. Temps in the 80s, altitude near 0. AFVs are holding at 105f/100r. I think they will stay there. It is really running great now. This bike has a completely different personality then when it was new. I was very disappointed with it until recently. The 3rd reflash and the Drummer made it into a real runner. I had the pleasure of severely schooling a Jap bike in a friendly stoplight contest on the coastal highway. |

I am just waiting on a phone call now. Kevin said my pipe was next. I was hoping to get it by next Monday for my track day at Mid-Ohio. But if not no big deal. |
