Has anyone made a program or cracked the code on the 1125 bikes? I am designing a prototype exhaust setup for the r/cr in conjunction with a harley buell dealership and was looking to be able to tune this setup. Help please |

+1...That is the BEST option for tuning your own 1125. No opinion required...the facts speak for themselves. |

Being that I'm very green when it comes to ECM stuff, what kind of stuff do you guys program with the ECMspy? Are u guys mostly using it for the track or is anyone making some changes for use on the street? I'm just curious if it would be a good investment for me in the future. |

Wow, this is facinating. This board won't let me post a link to Nifty sandbox for the owner. I can see blocking spammers and porn sites, but a motorcycle tuning site? Pulease. (Message edited by blake on September 14, 2009) |

There's more to the story, and I don't profess to know it all. Suffice it to say that BWB does not allow posting to sites that offer services for a price (aka advertising) of non-sponsors. The sponsors are what keep this place running, so Blake has that right IMO. So before this turns into a flame thread of 'He said/He said' let's try to respect the board owner's wishes and realize that we don't have all of the facts in front of us on this, so baseless speculation is unwarranted. |

Web hosting runs anywhere from $50-200 for a year. Even if you go the expensive route and rent a full-blown server, $1200 a year is average. Most come with the option for a mysql database, a lot of them offer multiple databases. Installing forum software that is user friendly costs NOTHING. Charging almost $800/year for "sponsorship" rights is bs to me. I know for a fact that this site could be converted over to a better forum style and run for considerably less than what it "costs to run" now. Sure, you have to do moderation, etc. but most forums have mods that do it for free anyway. Sorry for the thread hijack, but there is no way this site costs $28,000 a year to run, regardless of how much bandwidth it uses or how big the database gets. |

forumserver.twoplustwo.com is a great forum template. powerslide.net is also pretty good. There are firms that'll do the transfer for under 1000 |

Well, sponsorship is $790/year, there's 36 sponsors listed, you do the math and see what you come up with. |

And membership is free. If you don't like the owner's method(s) for doing business, you can leave at any time. Again, it's Blake's sandbox & his rules. Without knowing the exact details of what happened between the 2 folks, we're all just spouting off at the mouth about what we THINK. At the end of the day, it doesn't change the fact that it's not a sponsor, and as such, it's Blake's right to keep them off of here. If you don't like it, you can take it up with Blake directly. Or, you could just use the function called 'PM' that works as well & does not violate the rules, instead of arguing here about what is 'right' and what is 'wrong'. |

Back to the thread. There are maps available for the 1125R/CR that will knock your socks off. Here are the results of before and after. Actually, since the dyno, a number of hours were spent wide band tuning and the HP numbers could be higher. stock - 6000 rpm - 75 HP mapped - 85 HP stock - 7000 rpm - 90 HP mapped - 104 HP stock - 8000 rpm - 105 HP mapped - 122 HP stock - 9000 rpm - 116 HP mapped - 132 HP stock - 10000 rpm - 126.5 HP mapped - 138.5 HP Peak torque - stock - 71.25 foot pounds mapped - 80.65 foot pounds Again, since these figures were obtained the wide band tuning was performed. I have not had the bike dyno'd since that tuning. Bike is stock, except for the disabling of the solenoid. Runs smoother, cooler and pulls harder at really low rpm's. PM for details. |

Rey - Flash should be here Monday, Tuesday at the lastest. Once we flash it, then the PC3 and a fine tune if you will. I'll post results once we get them. If all goes well/as planned I hope to have the project completed by Friday or Saturday...God willin' and the crick don't rise! |

We don't block the link because they are a non sponsor. We do so because we feel they are unethical and due to previous experience dealing with them. D Adams is ignorant and is grossly wrong concerning our costs and our fees. BadWeB runs on it's own dedicated server with full time professional sysadmin on contract. Bottom line is that BadWeB will never support those we view as unethical. The good folks who created and thoroughly documented ECMspy didn't do so to provide the basis for others to exploit it for profit. The subject venture applied to sponsor BadWeB. Our only condition was that said venture provide authorization from the ECMspy folks to use ECMspy as a required and integral part of a for profit product. No such confirmation was ever provided, but that didn't stop the unethical party from marketing his product here. After a number of warnings the unethical party had to be banned from posting here. This is not something we enjoy; quite the opposite. We hate having to stand up for our principles and maintain the standards of conduct and terms of use here. Our free time is spent on such things. Having to do so just plain sucks. Letting the forum degrade to one without principles would be worse. We'd wipe the site clean rather than compromise our principles. If this is inconvenient for some, so be it. I myself own a 2009 XB12X. |
