Snail, what a welcome suprise to see you hear, your offer hospitality is wonderful. Eric, you read it right, a local Suzuki dealer has a brand new 2002 TLS 1000 on the floor for $8,299. And you could probably save a little more with a take it home today cash offer. I wonder what my insurance company has to say? This is my brain, At the key board in mid January Chris |

Christaylor, I'm here more than you think! I check in occasionally to make sure you guys aren't having more fun than me! And sometimes it seems like you are. That Pussy Bob G. isn't even going to stop at my place, he's going to TRAILER his bike home from Lag/Sec. Stuck up. Shucks. Paul |

Snail, cut Bob a little slack, we all have a busy week planned leading up to SPLASH. I'm toying with the idea of riding down to your place and meeting the Four Play group for the ride north. My vacation schedule will be locked in at the end of January, we'll start making plans for all our summer trips then. Hope all's well on the home front. Loni says hey. Chris |

To all those on the Dark Side... I took my Daytona to a little independant motorcycle repair shop in Suquamish to get a new chain on Tuesday. I've known the guy for a while and he had worked on and test ridden my Buel in the past. So he puts the new chain on and tales the Daytona for a test ride in the pouring rain. I should mention that this guy has been road racing unamed japanese models for a long time. Anyway, ne comes back after about ten minutes, comes inside dripping wet, takes off his helmet and with a big smile on his face says "That is one sweet running motorcycle!" He then says that he had been saving for an R1, but now maybe he will look a little closer at the Triumph. Kinda makes a guy feel good....No mechanic ever said that about the Buell.... From the Dark Side..... |

Paul- If you need help getting a 50 to and from Portland to Packwood and back to Portland I will do that for you. My son and nefew are bringing play bikes to the Thundercross event. This is going to be a good junior class. Just get it to Woodland Friday and I'll haul it to Packwood Saturday and will be back to Portland Sunday night. Mike |

Sorry Bob. I understand, now. Don't be testy. I'm not going to tell you what you'll be missing. It would only make you sulk. Paul |

Mike, that would be very cool. Both James, (my grandson) and Al's son Zach ride and would be pumped if they could race! We'll do some final planning and let you know, thanks much for the offer. Bob's not a pussy. Paul |

Thunder Cross is not a race! We tell the insurance company that is a "Timed Skills Event". The R word is strictly Taboo. And Loni says she's going to kick all ass. Chris |

Paul (& Everyone else that is too lazy to hit the Page Down button): We all do about 99.44% of our rideing on the street and bikes that are made to work well on the street are always a pleasure to ride. Duh! The latest, greatest bike on the planet with 199 HP @ 19,000 rpm, sub 200 lb. dry weight, 347 mph top end, yada yada yada, is fun to read about but Buells and Triumphs are the bikes that put smiles on faces. Oh, and BTW, Bob's a pussy |

Ferris, which time? The bike I was refering to is a CRF450R Honda motocrosser. It weighs 230 lbs., 55 HP, full susp. and wears knobbies. It will power wheelie going down hill, in third gear. Its so much fun to ride that if I let you ride it you won't leave and I'll have to feed you forever. Paul |

Hey Snail I am looking at the CRF450R & the WR450F. Did you look at the Yamahauler at all before getting Big Red? Also for the XB9s out there. Over at ATC they have a member's posting of their dyno numbers to compare Buell's race kit to a similiar Latus setup. |
