OK so i might be moving to a place without a garage, or carport.. or anything safe.. just pretty much out in the parking lot.. as ill be in an apartment complex. any ideas on what to do with my bike if i have to leave it outside?? Bike cover? I posted this in the XB section to get a wide response.. just wondering what any of you fellow Kansas buellers would do? Im in lawrence by the way.. | ||

Rent a storage space? Only bad thing is you hafta drive there to get it, but hey its better than getting stolen. Only other thing I could think would be to chain it to a pole or stake it to the ground. Always lock the handlebars, and u could also use disc locks. | ||

I dont know if youre married or live with your girlfriend or not, but if you dont then put it in the living room....I know guys who do that....I personally couldnt get away with it because my wife doesnt think of a Buell as a "cute decoration" but its better than leaving your shit outside to get stolen. | ||

Ya im trying to work on moving into a ground floor place.. that way if able i can roll into the living room.. Lawrence girls think its awesome having a bike in the living.. least the ones i have brought home at the old place, before i moved to the place i have now.. which has a garage.. but due to dead beat roommates who bailed on part of the rent.. I know have to move out.. or find new roommate! So im looking for options on keeping the bike close to me.. but safe from weather and crooks if it has to be kept outside. | ||

yeah it was layed down in a driveway... ive got a black tail for it too, but it would look even more goofy with just a titanium tank. im going to buy another tank off ebay, but i need new tires first, and exhaust... after riding a few hundred miles this weekend, this bikes gunna be fun as hell! | ||

You guys will like this one. So I'm out in wichita visiting an old high school friend that moved out here from Detroit before I moved to KC. Well I saddlebagged up and tool the bolt this time just because I can. Well yesterday it's raining a bit but there was still shit I needed. To do while the friend I'm visiting is at work. She works till 6 and I wanted to stop at alfs Harley out here for my step dad so I could get him a shirt. (i only stop at buell/Harley dealerships for him) Well on my way to Alfs I see two bikes out in the rain with me. What were they? A lightining and a uly! Not a single black and chrome out OR import! Just 3 buells out in the shit. Guess it was bike wash day for them also! | ||
