Hey guys what issues have you had with gauge cluster and how did issue get resolved. I have only had my bike for few weeks and have been having problems. The cluster is foggin up and getting water in it. Several times when I turn the key on and crank it the low fuel light will be on and engine light will for several mins after its running. |

Take pictures of it. If your dealership won't or cannot help you, then go to Buell Customer Service. The pictures should be nice and clearly showing water in the IC. Mine has done it for a while and at first it wassn't to bad. But on really humid days the thing clouds up and is unreadable. The water pools at the bottom of the glass and sloshed around. At some point during the day it goes away for the most part. Just be patient, Buell knows about the issues with it. The more we document the issues the more of a case we help make to get everyone fixed up right. Most all, enjoy the ride. Little things can get you all fired up. Like me with my grip skin paint removal. |

The fuel light(LFL) and the engine light (CEL) coming on is un-related to the fogging. The ECM is looking for a voltage range from the fuel sensor(thermistor). When the voltage is outside the range low, you get the error lights. Outside range high, you're low on fuel. I had that combo regularly thru the Winter, with an ambient temp of 20-40 dF. Haven't been seeing it much lately, tho I still have a b1005 DTC in historics. I am accepting it as a quirk that poses no problem. YMMV Z |

Make sure your battery stays fully charged . I had similar issues with the cluster and noticed the battery was not fully charged . Installed a battery tender and when I put the bike away at night I plug it in . Have not had a gauge problem since ! Seems this bike is really sensitive to low battery voltage .. |
