That was Mark's bike. He lives in Milwaukee so it's not a far stretch to believe the bike is at Camp Douglas. I can attest to the fact that this was a solid and VERY well maintained bike. The reason Mark sold it is because he bought a new FJR1300 last spring. The Buell was not getting ridden. And for LuvNuts....get a life. I've been good friends with Mark for years. Where is all this coming from...?... I just pointed out the same bike has been for sale on/off since Jan. The ad shows the same pics... I only asked if the owners name was Mark and to be careful..... How was that causing anything.... If anything I am more convinced it is a scam and all you from that area may be playing the same game....... You know all you Butt-Buddies need to READ the posts.... I still cant believe some of you on here....I dont care if I just joined and Mark is friends with whoever.....read the posts.... No one else thinks it is a very weird coinsidence that the guy just bought the bike...yet says he will trade for just about anything.....sounds like a piece of junk to me........ | ||

Interesting, I "tried" to buy the bike before, and was dismissed without an opportunity to even look at it. I looked at his auctions on E-bay and on his auctions he said he was from Green Bay, not Milwaukee. Also got several different first names + different locations + weird communications= ? There may be a good explanation for it all; Child support unpaid? Alimony overdue? Oh well... | ||

I love guys that have been on the board for a whole 3 months and think their sh!t don't stink. I read the WHOLE story. Sounds like your a bitter little baby. But that's just my opinion. Hey Cheddar...it looks like Mark was being a stand-up guy to somebody that defends your sorry whining a$$. I would much rather sell my bike at a lesser price to a military person. They deserve at least that much. BTW....he doesn't "hate HD/Buell". His priorities have changed and the Buell was the best bike for his life. End of story. | ||

The seller was dodgy back then, at best. I give him credit for possibly being in a tight spot with money, but; pointing out the seller's different names given and different locations of the machine isn't being a whiny a$$, it's a warning to buyers who may lose their hard-earned money to a scammer. There are no tin-foil beanies- just average joes seeing big discrepancies in the seller's BS, and warning other riders. Is this "new" seller in Camp Douglas even a new seller, or the same guy? Mark had lived in Green Bay for a number of years. He probably never changed his profile when he relocated to Milwaukee. Is that a crime? The "new" seller must be located at Camp Douglas. Mark no longer owns the bike!!!!! | ||

Holy crap! I sent the guy a message and he got right back to me. Told me the same thing his post said .... "wanted to switch to a cruiser" wasn't interested in a trade for my buell. The bike sure doesn't look like a "piece of junk" to me. I hope it finds a good home and doesn't get chopped up and parted out. | ||

You guys make me laugh. I think lookin out for each other on here is the point, right? No one wants to be scammed. But at the same time, if I'm selling a bike, I don't want to get "blacklisted" from somebody who doesn't even know me. Chedder and Luv2 were just lookin out for guys like me, who are lookin to buy an actual bike and not get ripped off. Lake- you are defending a friend. Well good, I'd do the same. If he (Mark) is truly a stand up guy, then try and hook up H82lose with his contact info. Looks like he bought the bike........ Thanks for makin me laugh, though guys.
